I am currently a trainee teacher and am working on obtaining a first-degree teaching qualification in biology. I enjoy supporting students with the subject matter and sharing my enthusiasm for the STEM subjects. I have now helped more than 20 students with biology, chemistry, and mathematics. During the tutoring sessions, we actively work together on assignments, and I help you learn to solve problems independently. In addition, it is important that you practice independently between lessons. I offer support with: - Clearing backlogs - Specific chapters or topics that are difficult - Preparation for school exams and central exams (vmbo, havo and vwo) - VAVO, state examination, and CCVX tracks I offer tutoring at my home in Groningen West, but tutoring at your home is also possible. I charge a travel allowance for this (see rates). ***ENGLISH*** Hello! My name is Sanne (25), and I hold a Master's in Biochemistry. Biology is a fascinating and complex subject that unravels the intricacy of life, from molecular interactions within cells to disease systems and how we fight them. Whether you're preparing for IB Biology, university courses, or looking to strengthen your understanding, success requires dedication and comprehension of biological topics. With an IB Higher Level Biology background, a Bachelor’s from the Maastricht Science Programme, and a Master of Science in Molecular Medicine from Imperial College London, I understand the challenges students face when grasping new concepts, dealing with assignments and preparing for exams. My goal is to simplify complex topics like genetics, physiology, and disease systems in an engaging, clear, and effective way. My tutoring sessions are tailored to your needs, whether it’s exam prep, concept clarification, or advanced study. My interactive approach ensures a deeper understanding, building your confidence in biology one step at a time and at your own pace. I look forward to helping you succeed!

Hi, I'm Henry, 23, and I am currently graduating from the Maastricht Science Programme where I received high marks in biology-related disciplines and organic chemistry. I have a passion for Science, and how its different disciplines come together to explain the world we live in. This led me to take a lot of courses, ranging from ecology, animal behavior, ecophysiology, and cell biology, before specializing in genetics and molecular biology, on which I wrote my Bachelor Thesis. I am great at innovating new ways of formulating and explaining materials, as I believe that understanding a concept mainly depends on how you perceive it, something I learned when giving trainings to de-scholarized adults. I can tutor and help prepare for exams in most biology-related courses! Just send me the material a couple of days in advance so that I can prepare accordingly, and you're set to pass :)

Whether you struggle with basic biology concepts or you wish to learn more and go into a biology or medicine degree perhaps, we can go on this learning journey together! As a biologist myself, I take a hands-on approach, learning through doing is the best method to fully understand. My goal is to help you understand how different biology mechanisms work and how everything is connected.

Biology never sounded more fun! Are you struggling with your biology classes? Or are you simply fascinated by understanding the mechanisms behind living organisms? Then this class is for you! Freshly graduated from a Bsc in Biomedical Sciences, I can help you with any topic that you're struggling with or that you're really interested in. Together we will make sure everything is understood, we will find analogies that really speak to you and we'll improve and/or solidify your already-existing knowledge. And who knows, maybe we'll even have fun doing so??

I specialize in tutoring high school and bachelor level biology. Currently pursuing my masters in biomedical sciences at Radboud University with a full scholarship. I've worked as a research assistant as part of my internship for 18 months. I have spent 2 months working at the University of Wisconsin, USA, where i was working in a cancer epigenetics lab. I've been active in the field of education since I was 14. I started home tutoring students from secondary school and have been teaching students as a part of a Non-profit organization, back in India. I believe in interactive teaching and my teaching method is highly flexible and is arranged as per the need of the student. I, however, believe in regular tests and assessments.

📚 Many students find that biology becomes much easier once the concepts are explained clearly and connected step by step. In our lessons, we focus on building a solid understanding while also practicing the kinds of questions you'll face in exams or assignments. I work with both university and high school students preparing for university courses, IB, A-levels, AP Biology, Boswell-Beta exams, university entrance exams, or anyone who wants to strengthen their biology knowledge. In our lessons, we’ll cover theory, work through practice questions, and focus on problem-solving and exam strategies. Every lesson is adapted to your needs, whether you need help with a full course or just a few specific topics. 🧬 Some of the topics we can work on include: 1) Cell Biology 2) Molecular Biology 3) Genetics 4) Biochemistry 5) Immunology 6) Microbiology 7) High School Biology (full curriculum) You can bring your class materials, or I can prepare custom practice sets and summaries depending on your goals. The main goal is to help you build confidence, improve your understanding, and feel completely prepared for your exams or courses. 🧪

I have experience tutoring French, to children and young adults. I am a dedicated tutor who is constantly trying to understand how to best tailor my teaching technique to the individual needs of the student. I assign homework after lessons that is specifically targeted to the skills. High school biology and economics were my favorite IB subjects, and I would be confident to explain the concepts to high school students. I have already tutored younger students when I was in school.
