7 ans d’expérience d’enseignement en conservatoire, écoles de musique et en entreprise.

J’ai un très bon contact avec les enfants. Je suis exigeant mais doux et très patient. Je crois que l’on apprend en écoutant, je suis présent pour permettre que cette écoute soit au centre du cours et ainsi accompagner l’élève sur le chemin de la musique.

Je m’adapte au besoin, à l’envie et la réceptivité de chacun.
Le bien-être de l’élève est essentiel pour progresser en confiance et dans la joie.
Le développement l’écoute du chant intérieur sont au cœur de mon enseignement.

Pour les débutants : chansons, jeux, improvisation, création. Les liens avec le chant et le rythme sont très importants pour avoir une base saine. Les notions musicales sont abordées progressivement par expérience puis par reconnaissance. La lecture et l’écriture sont amenées par la création et la composition musicale.

Pour les plus expérimentés, la polyphonie et les passages difficiles peuvent être abordés avec différents outils, par la conscience de l’harmonie et des modes mélodiques et de la polyrythmie. Il suffit parfois de prendre conscience de la simplicité pour surmonter les passages difficiles.

Je pousse à aller plus loin dans la qualité de l’interprétation avec des moyens simples pour mieux comprendre la musique et ainsi permettre plus d’expressivité et de liberté.

Je propose aussi des cours d’improvisation, d’harmonie, des
cours d'ensembles musicaux, notamment de polyphonie vocale pour les enfants, et des cours pour des besoins spécifiques, par exemple l'intonation juste pour les chanteurs ou autres instruments.

My name is Daniel and I ́m a professional pianist.

I have a Degree in Music in Piano Performance by the Royal Academy of Music of Madrid and I was awarded a scholarship to pursue my Masters Degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, starting September 2015.

I have extensive teaching experience as I ́ve worked in two music academies to pay for my studies, I ́ve worked in Ibiza as a private piano teacher and au pair and I ́ve been giving private lessons for nine years now (all levels and ages).

I am an italian piano teacher with many years of experience. I encourage music study not only for performance success, but also for personal development. I can teach both classical piano or modern (jazz/rock/pop) piano. I really enjoy sharing music knowledge with my students, I love working with very young children and with old beginners as well. I am a very patient and approachable piano teacher and always study music pedagogy to be a better teacher.

BIO:
Silvio, born in 1986, is a pianist, composer and educator originally from Italy. He began studying classical piano at the age of eleven and went on to major in piano at the Conservatory of Lecce, graduating with full marks in 2005. After falling in love with jazz and improvisation when he was nineteen, he attended Lecce State Conservatory on a full jazz scholarship in 2011.
Silvio specializes in many styles of piano and has received numerous prizes at national piano competitions.
In addition to being a musician, Silvio has expertise in business. He graduated with first class honours (110/110 cum laude) in Economics and Finance from the University of Salento in 2013.
His album “Flowing” is the result of a prize in the music competition "Giuseppe Tricarico" (May 2016 - Gallipoli, Italy) which he won and which allowed him to produce this record. It was released in December 2018.
In September 2018 Silvio had the chance to lead workshops about jazz music in Santo Domingo at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, National Conservatory of Music and Academia de Música de Patricia Logroño.
In June 2019 he was one of the Top Prize winners at the International Online Quebec Music Competition (Montreal, Canada), where he played his own composition called “Latin Jazz Etude – Una Noche en el Barrio”, and in July 2019 he won the First Place at the San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition (Summer Edition).
Since December 2018 he has been collaborating as sheet music arranger with a US-based website, the world's leading digital sheet music retailer.
Silvio is also a music teacher with many years of experience, whose students range in age from 5 to 60 plus. He encourages music study not only for performance success, but also for personal development. In 2019 he attended music pedadogy courses at the Conservatory of Lecce.
Since 2014 he‘s been the vicepresident of the Music School and Association “Oda – Officina Degli Artisti” (Taurisano, Italy).

I’m Paloma, I’m a film and videogame music composer, pianist and violist. I give classes in music language, music theory, harmony, and composition from classical to film, piano, and viola. My students are any age, any level from beginner to advanced. I will help with exams, GCSE, and A-Levels, as well as help students obtain their grade 5 theory to advance and take higher grades in composition or viola.

I started teaching when I was 17 years old. While I was studying viola and composition I would help colleagues learn Harmonic Theory for University exams or just for fun. Whilst studying, in order to support my learning abroad, I started teaching children and teenagers. The classes included a wide variety, from; supporting their studies during the school year, to their first approaches to music as well as nurturing love and excitement for playing and making music. After University I continued giving classes during the last few years.

The compositional strand of training if a student wishes to undergo it has many elements we will learn the theory needed to competently make music learn systems that allow us to break down composition as well as multiple genres. work they can do by themselves at their own pace, allowing each student to work and grow at a rate suited to their ability.
-Building a strong understanding of melodies and chords and how different instruments work and support each other.
-If they are studying in a formal educational establishment, they will receive support and guidance in regard to their work and exams.

When I am giving classes in music language, viola, piano... to children, I always try that the classes will be dynamic but at the same time incorporate a little bit of Theory. I utilised exercises that are designed to engage young developmental minds, like those you’d find on a children’s show. For example, singing, playing... songs allows us to train the ears and help them to begin to recognise the different registers, notes, rhythms and tempo. This was done alongside training on their chosen instruments, my aim was and is to nurture a language of music as well as give them practical skills and exercises they can do on their own. I play the piano and viola, so I always try to support them.

When it comes to classes for teenagers I teach them theory and practice as well as strong fundamentals but I also allow time to let them lead their learning to give them more agency, allow them to learn their favourite /contemporary songs. This keeps the passion for music alive. With teenagers, my approach centres on elevating and reinforcing what they learn from school using exercises and providing tools to break down ideas musically. In addition, I also prepare for GCSE and A-levels.

Lessons will follow a path of progression, teaching them how to approach the next levels of theoretical and practical competence. Allowing the students to understand their Progression and their path forward increases the likelihood they will continue studying.

Lessons are flexible, and curated on a student-to-student basis as well as making sure to incorporate what I believe they need to achieve the next level. This involves; practical music training, ear training, building on theoretical knowledge, as well as learning songs they love to ensure they feel fulfilled and have fun with music.

Je m'appelle Andrea, j'ai récemment terminé mon Master d'Artiste en instruments à clavier à la Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Ma passion pour la musique m'a incité à postuler au Conservatoire Professionnel de Musique de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria pour le cours de Clavecin comme matière principale. Après 10 ans d'études musicales et l'obtention du diplôme de « Grado de Enseñanzas Profesionales » au conservatoire, j'ai développé un profond intérêt pour la musique classique et ancienne pour instruments à clavier.

En découvrant un univers historique et musical, j'ai décidé de poursuivre mes recherches théoriques et interprétatives en suivant le cursus de licence en instruments à clavier comprenant le piano, le clavecin et l'orgue. J'ai eu l'incroyable opportunité d'obtenir une bourse d'études et d'étudier au "Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste", en Italie. En travaillant avec des professeurs exceptionnels, j'ai pu élargir mes compétences linguistiques et mon appréciation culturelle de la diversité expressive de la musique pour clavier. J'ai découvert la magnifique variété entre de nombreux compositeurs de toute l'Europe et les caractéristiques et techniques distinctes qu'ils utilisaient pour improviser et embellir leurs pièces. Au cours de ce voyage artistique, j'ai vécu des expériences de performance extraordinaires en tant que soliste, notamment en jouant au Parlement de Bruxelles et à la National Gallery en Bosnie. Récemment, vivre à Londres m'a inspiré à participer à une grande variété de projets passionnants tels que jouer en tant qu'accompagnateur de clavier dans Opera Scenes et avec le Guildhall Baroque Orchestra au Milton Court Concert Hall.

Je propose des cours particuliers de piano de niveau débutant à intermédiaire, pour les élèves de tout âge ! Mon objectif est de vous faire prendre plaisir à jouer et je peux également vous aider à obtenir les niveaux ABRSM si c'est ce que vous recherchez.

J'ai étudié le piano classique au Royal Northern College of Music de Manchester pendant 7 ans, puis j'ai poursuivi mes études musicales pendant un an à Paris. J'ai obtenu la mention « 8 » (niveau ABRSM) en piano (la plus haute distinction), et j'ai donné un an de cours particuliers de piano à un enfant de 9 ans. J'ai également donné des cours particuliers dans d'autres domaines (mathématiques et physique).
