Trusted teacher: What do you love to listen to? How do you create music that expresses the music that has deeply influenced you? The "how do you create that" is where technique, or music theory, shapes what compels you. There are a variety of techniques because there are a variety of sound possibilities (jazz, rock, classical, etc.). "In order to create that" music in your head, the basics of music have to be learned: pitch and rhythmical relationships. The most basic examples of pitch relationships are melody and harmony. If my availability works, I will gladly take in anyone who desires to explore all the basics and beyond. I greatly hope that any student considering lessons will read all of the information provided about myself on Apprentus. I will not begin a lesson with any student who does not answer the first five questions. Now, I believe I've covered enough ground for potential students to understand what my lessons will be about. So for now... enjoy the sounds and Au revoir!
I have a degree in piano and a diploma in teaching. My progress to the piano was possible to the academic combination together with the support of great composition and improvisation professionals. With the mixture of both aspects, I have managed to interpret the great masters and understand the work together with its resources. My wish is to share this knowledge with you, through the material that I offer in the classes, and in a pleasant way for any member of the family. In my case, I started with the piano, followed with the guitar, and later became a music producer and composer in various musical styles. arranger and transcriber of scores.

Hello! I am a Baltimore-based violist studying at the Peabody Institute of Music. My primary goal in teaching viola is to help people make progress as efficiently as possible, with whatever intensity feels right for them. I encourage scales and a small technical regimen for sound production and conditioning, to go alongside practicing repertoire using a method that makes it simple to play cleanly and expressively. Understanding the logic great compositions are built with is essential for making that music truly come to life, so I am a big proponent of teaching music theory as a part of lessons. For beginning students, developing a good musical ear and enjoying exploring the possibilities of the viola always comes first.

Trusted teacher: Who is this workshop for? For all curious about sound, all music, music in general, who wants to manufacture, build, examine ... (from 12 or 13 years). Should one know the music theory? Not necessarily. But familiarity with music of various styles can be a great help. DJ? Electro music? No ! We will not learn here to be a DJ or to compose "dance-music", "electro" music in the commonly understood sense, or even songs. Should I know the computer? It's better if that's the case, but learning can be done at the same time as music research. Is it necessary to have a computer? Yes ! A "workshop" rather than a class? The course takes the form of a practical workshop, listening sessions, critical works. By computer? Everything happens on computer once recorded sound elements of all kinds. Editing, transformation, mixing on software designed for this. No software required. The proposed route can be adapted to any multitrack sequencing software. The computer is only a tool, it is the composer who makes the music. Practically what do we do? The composer works "with the sounds" that he has most often recorded himself. He chooses them, assembles them, deforms them, mixes them according to his project, according to his his intuition, his ideas and desires, gradually builds a music. For those who want it and need it, exercises are proposed which allow to approach at the same time techniques of realization and specific musical proposals. Composition / Invention It is not a question of declaring oneself all composers, but of asserting that one can all ask questions of composers, with, at the same time, seriousness and fantasy. To confront the game of a free invention. What musical orientation? What style ? This is a "musical research" approach: to seek to invent a music beyond the traditional values - heights of note, regular pulsations, instrumental timbres - without being forbidden to do all that. A "music of sounds", in the widest possible sense, a "music of all sounds "as opposed to what we might call obviously too simplified" a music of notes ". This choice, which apparently seems to shake up the musical uses, is nevertheless part of a tradition of more than a century and rich of a repertoire too little known and which had various names: - Electroacoustic Music - Concrete music - Acousmatic music - Contemporary music Finally, we each have a precious tool to never forget: our ear, and a fascinating and rewarding work to drive, questioning oneself.

Trusted teacher: English Translation: contact me please SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Trusted teacher: REGISTRATIONS JANUARY 2020 OPEN !!! The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, with a chain YOUTUBE and VIDEOS TUTOS, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste is not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example: We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original as by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. In addition to the YouTube channel and its tutorial videos that will be useful for reviewing after class, I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. Trusted teacher: I specialise in making music with the computer when there isn't a whole bunch of theory knowledge there. I can teach you to quickly and efficiently make that tune in your head into a reality, then turn that into a full track. If you have tried a few tutorials or courses and they didn't fit with you because of all the engineering jargon and theory based approach, this course is for you! I learnt to make music because I was hearing all these songs in my head but wasn't good enough at any instrument to materialise them. Ableton allowed me to hash through ideas, jam with them, then finally turn them into a full working track. I have also worked as a live and studio sound engineer so I do have the theoretical knowledge but can communicate in the language of learners from all different levels. I think there are a lot of people that just need to express what they have in there head and Ableton is by far the best program for that. It is very intuitive, "jammable" and so much fun! For me Ableton is my instrument but I also play the drums, piano and bass.

Composing music is very similar to writing novels. Of course there are "novels" and Novels...and the secret to create expressive, compelling, and successful ones is the ability to write with emotions, tension, and conflict. With music is exactly the same, and in order to to so, musicians needs to have "at arm's distance" all the tools and knowledge that will allow them "to sculpture the air in the performance into something" (F. Zappa) As a musician, have you ever wondered: what if I replace this A min. chord with an E min. 7 ? is it better to stay "Tonal" or go "Modal" on this measure? what if I establish a stronger emotional response by changing this scale fragment into a Phrygian? shall I drive more of a rhythmic feeling by leveraging quartal harmony? what chords could I actually ask the guys from my band to add to this measures so that my solo would sound more interesting? how can I phrase this better to that my songwriting drives a more melodic and fluid verse? If at least once in your "music lifetime" you asked yourself any of these questions without finding a satisfactory answer, this course might be right for you. Please contact me, and together we will discuss your needs, your goals, your challenges. Cheers, Max
