Trusted teacher: Who is this workshop for? For all curious about sound, all music, music in general, who wants to manufacture, build, examine ... (from 12 or 13 years). Should one know the music theory? Not necessarily. But familiarity with music of various styles can be a great help. DJ? Electro music? No ! We will not learn here to be a DJ or to compose "dance-music", "electro" music in the commonly understood sense, or even songs. Should I know the computer? It's better if that's the case, but learning can be done at the same time as music research. Is it necessary to have a computer? Yes ! A "workshop" rather than a class? The course takes the form of a practical workshop, listening sessions, critical works. By computer? Everything happens on computer once recorded sound elements of all kinds. Editing, transformation, mixing on software designed for this. No software required. The proposed route can be adapted to any multitrack sequencing software. The computer is only a tool, it is the composer who makes the music. Practically what do we do? The composer works "with the sounds" that he has most often recorded himself. He chooses them, assembles them, deforms them, mixes them according to his project, according to his his intuition, his ideas and desires, gradually builds a music. For those who want it and need it, exercises are proposed which allow to approach at the same time techniques of realization and specific musical proposals. Composition / Invention It is not a question of declaring oneself all composers, but of asserting that one can all ask questions of composers, with, at the same time, seriousness and fantasy. To confront the game of a free invention. What musical orientation? What style ? This is a "musical research" approach: to seek to invent a music beyond the traditional values - heights of note, regular pulsations, instrumental timbres - without being forbidden to do all that. A "music of sounds", in the widest possible sense, a "music of all sounds "as opposed to what we might call obviously too simplified" a music of notes ". This choice, which apparently seems to shake up the musical uses, is nevertheless part of a tradition of more than a century and rich of a repertoire too little known and which had various names: - Electroacoustic Music - Concrete music - Acousmatic music - Contemporary music Finally, we each have a precious tool to never forget: our ear, and a fascinating and rewarding work to drive, questioning oneself.

Trusted teacher: English Translation: contact me please Everybody generally consists of chords and lines of text. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hit or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you play 'what' guitar or piano, then you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antenna 's are always open :-) and for some it's a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and 2 sixes lines - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can get strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all, I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to write my science about songs, share it with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book with me for an hour. Then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Trusted teacher: REGISTRATION SEPTEMBER 2019 OPEN !!! The course I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, with a program adaptable to your desires / needs with the COURSE BOOK that I wrote and produced especially for my students. Age is therefore not restrictive when you will be able to work with qualitative (and not quantitative) daily work in order to quickly observe your progress and not sink into the frustration of a quest towards an absolute that seems vain and time-consuming. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. This is of course accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on his instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. Music theory is popularized to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are therefore in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the scales and modes that you can buy directly at home. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, although I am particularly oriented in terms of metal / rock music and classical music in my style of play, I am a versatile ear and who appreciates a lot of very different (even contradictory) things. The writing of music and music theory are also two areas in which I am in my element and which allow me to travel transversally in music genres as different and varied as they are and to understand them, to learn them and therefore to retransmit their codes and secrets. You can play a guitar that I made available for the course, and you can also bring your own if you prefer. For bondage lovers the course can be given for 7-string / 8-string guitars. To finish I would like to add more personal that I am professional, dedicated to my profession of musician and teacher, I am always available to answer via message, mails, short videos or even for the following course, to students who contact me outside of class for a reminder or advice on a concept discussed in theory or a difficulty encountered in a piece :) /! \ CANCELLATIONS-REFUNDS-CONDITIONS /! \ For parents who want to put their children to music to occupy them: I advise you to make sure that the motivation comes from your child in the first place! I happened to be confronted with children who did not really want to take these courses and so I had to stop because lack of motivation of the child and boredom very visible! If for any reason whatsoever (on my side or yours) the classes are no longer given while you have paid for several lessons in advance, THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE REIMBURSED BY APPRENTUS, who stores the money and tells me pay per course (which you confirm). So no worries on that side! If we do not finish all the courses you ordered, the non-courses will be reimbursed BY THE SITE! Thank you for your reading and your interest if you have read so far. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my program, which can adapt of course to your request. Hi, my name is David. I'm originally from Glasgow, Scotland, but now live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I got my first song cut in 2007, and since then have had over 150 of my songs recorded by numerous artists in Europe. I pretty much write across the board and have had songs cut by Pop, Rock, Country, Americana, Blues, Electronic & R&B artists. I've even had one song recorded by an Opera quartet! Those songs have been on many hit albums and have spent a total of 21 weeks at #1 on the official charts of Switzerland & Austria. I’ve done all this WITHOUT being signed to a publisher, which means instead of giving away 50% of my royalties, I keep all 100% for myself! Whether you want to write songs to record yourself or for others (and those can be two very different things), I can help you. I'll tailor the lessons to fit you. We'll work together, perfecting your strengths and building up your weaknesses. I'll show you how to write memorable melodies, heartfelt lyrics and innovative chord progressions. I'll also teach you how today's music business operates. One thing I learned early in life is that if you want to learn something, learn from someone who has done it already. If you want to be successful in the music business, then learn from someone who has had some success themselves. If they haven't how can they show you how to do it? Just because someone has written hundreds of songs doesn't necessarily mean they know about songwriting. In my lifetime I’ve made thousands of meals for myself, but I’m still a lousy cook! It’s not how many songs you write that’s important - it’s how many good ones you write. With me, you'll learn how to write songs that stand out from the rest. There's a craft to writing great songs. We all love that initial burst of inspiration when ideas come quicker than we can write them down, but once that burst is over, that's when the craft comes in. It's the craft that adds the polish and can turn a decent song into a great one. The trick is not to polish it too much, and not lose the thing that made you excited about the song in the first place. That's one of the things I'll teach you. Also, if you know how to craft a song, then Writer's Block really becomes a thing of the past. Success won't happen overnight, but if you’re willing to put in the work, I can show you how to get closer to making a very good living from your music. I’m not saying that I’m the best songwriter in the world. I’m just saying that I know how to write songs that get cut and I can teach you how to do it too. I'm always looking for good co-writers, so if there's anyone here who I think is talented maybe that will be something we can look at further down the line. I look forward to working with you.

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory - LOUKELELE MUSIC ACADEMY - (Saint-Josse-ten-Noode)
Lou-Indigo
