Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60. My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding. No matter if you are interested in learning to play your favourite tunes just for fun or want to build up strong, solid technique and play demanding repertoire, I would be happy to work with you.The world of music is incredibly rich and I would love to help you on the exciting journey of discovering it. I believe it important to have variety in the process of learning and to help the student to develop good practising habits. For those interested, I can also gladly include some music theory/music history knowledge in the lessons, to understand the pieces on a more profound level. Her teaching style is incredibly thoughtful — each lesson is well-structured and tailored to the student’s pace and personality. She explains everything clearly, with patience and professionalism, and always brings a calm, positive energy to every session. What stands out most is how nurturing and encouraging she is. My child feels supported and motivated, and her enthusiasm — never overwhelming — is truly contagious. She builds each lesson on the student's progress, reinforcing skills in a way that sets them up for success. Since starting lessons, my child has not only improved musically, but has also begun practicing regularly without being reminded — something I never expected! Hello, Jakob has really been such a great teacher, I have never seen someone so enthusiatic about music...He is the type of person who can motivate you to learn and have fun with the instrument. I am total beginner in terms of music and violin, but yet the progress im making is amazing. The lessons are so much fun and i really enjoy learning from him. He is never afraid to go extra mile for his students, which is very rare these days. I look foreward to my classes every week. Overall, i have an amazing time learning violin, all thanks to him.
