Trusted teacher: Talking, singing, reciting, making sounds puts us in a vulnerable position. These situations of representation arouse all kinds of emotions: fear, restraint, anxiety, stage fright, disappointment, anger, discouragement, panic Taking the time to feel, to receive the emotions that emerge in us, is the cornerstone of the art of singing. As this experience is lived and relived, a comfort settles in us. It is a moving, liberating experience to discover your voice and let go of inhibitions in the face of your personal expression. Together, we will learn in a fun way and through breathing exercises, vocal and body stretching, to take advantage of this magic “organ” that is the voice, to evolve. Thanks to this personal approach, the relationship with oneself and life changes. The voice changes, it is better experienced, better loved, and the feeling of strangeness experienced in front of it disappears. The personality of the individual is integrated into speech and the arts of expression. "Singing, this art that repairs! »Experience and training: - 1 st prize in song - opera, flute, music by chamber at the Royal Conservatories of Music of Brussels and Mons, B. - soloist at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, Brussels. - Invited by the Lille Opera, F., then by the Vlaamse Opera Van Gent, for a solo recital. - professor of musical awakening and instrument making within the Jeunesses Musicales of Brussels and Brabant Wallon. - trainer of child leaders, graduated by ICC, Brussels. - professor of song, choral song, flute, musical awakening, in academies and private schools. “The voice has a special fascination because it is an instrument that everyone has, and that it depends on the physical and emotional state of the artist. Trusted teacher: Singing lessons (lessons for children below): Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom). Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student. Here is what I propose ... Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way. Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. My preference goes to jazz and all its branches and roots (bossa, brazilian, blues, gospel, polyphony, ...) because it's for me the best training but I'm open and I sing myself (almost) every other styles ;-) Improvisation: the best for the end :-) listening exercise, creativity, self-expression, voice and musicality. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation. Music lessons for children (from 1 year to + -6-7 years old): Animation of 30 min or 45 min (depending on age) with the same structure that remains, the songs change. Song or rhythmic activity to say hello Gesture song (fine psychomotricity) Songs with maracas eggs (keep a pulse, manipulate the eggs, work on coordination) Presentation of a musical instrument Song to be accompanied by children of different percussion instruments Song to move or dance Pre music theory or recognition exercise of noises or instruments (depends on age) Song to say goodbye

VIOLIN LESSONS/ALL LEVELS with the professional teacher and a concert violinist. MA dip.at the Royal Academy of Music, London (Perroy)
Anna
Anna is an excellent violin teacher. I highly recommend her. She’s able to convey her passion for violin in a fun and relatable way for children by teaching/practicing through games and stories. She knows how to channel my son’s energy and keep him focused by making the lessons interesting for a child. She has a really good balance between being demanding yet encouraging and positive. My 6 year old started the violin six months ago and I’m very pleased to see him enjoy playing and learning. He looks forward to his lesson with Anna every week and I’m very pleased with his progress.

Violin lessons, music theory and history of music (Brussels)
Katia
I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Singing lessons by teacher with Master / 20 years of experience (Watermael-Boitsfort)
Elena
I have already learned so much useful exercices in only two lessons with Elena that I can barely keep up my own workout on the side between courses! It is dense lessons where you learn many things in a methodic way, and yet she still manages to get me to relax in no more than 5 minutes, even after a tough day of work. She has a cheerful and gentle personnality, I'm making progress, and it's strictly good times!
