I am a classical pianist, graduated from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (ASAB) in the city of Bogotá. I have also been studying modern singing for 4 years with two vocal coaches. With them I have learned breathing techniques, relaxation, principles of vocal technique, basic concepts of vocal anatomy, and work on musical style. My focus and musical styles that I handle: modern singing (jazz, R&B, pop, blues, among others), but I also have experience singing in Cuban son and bolero groups. In addition, I have been working on my own musical project for several years, in which I have had to study composition techniques, be at the forefront of current music, and above all, I have had a lot of work as a session musician, where I have been able to develop techniques based on my experience in recording studios. I have worked as a pianist and singer, with extensive experience playing both instruments simultaneously, at all types of events and restaurants, in different places in the city. I have also been teaching classical piano for over ten years, teaching this beautiful art to people of all ages (children, seniors, etc.) and 5 years teaching vocal technique, with excellent results. Four years ago, we founded (together with my husband) our music school, called: Lullaby Music School. Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. We booked and experienced a trial lesson at few days ago. She is an experienced teacher with excellent teaching experience. She is willing to communicate and is willing to teach with different level of children. She explores the children's talents and also wiling to set learning goals with the children’s & parents. She uses her own teach way to arouse children's interest into music. My daughter likes Sana very much.
