Special viola de gamba course in Paris by an international musician. I tour a lot in Europe as a chamber musician and as a soloist. My repertoire ranges from the Middle Ages to contemporary music. In addition to my activities as an artist, I love to teach, to open the fascinating world of the viola da gamba to people. I have had students for many years and now I want to build a class here in Paris. All levels I teach in French, German, English, Czech and Dutch I studied at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität, at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Bale), at the Utrecht Conservatory and at the Amsterdam Conservatory. I graduated my studies with a Bachelor, as well as a Master (cum laude). I play (and teach) the whole family of the viola da gamba, including the old and the violone on the floor.

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient.
