As a student, I often found myself struggling with resolving a particular set of problems. I was constantly confronted with higher-levelled players, wondering whether I would ever become able to express myself as they did through their music. Having been studying jazz for many years, I experimented with a lot of different learning methods, only to find out that music improvisation is something that is mainly acquired in very personal, differentiated ways. One of the most interesting things I experienced as an educator, when encountering students who shared my own past insecurities, doubts, questions, and struggles, was getting to understand a part of the person in front of me; and to find new ways to help grasp and internalize a theoretical or technical concept that could then enable them to formulate a more coherent musical idea. Even if every student is a unique individual, thus responding to different educational methods, I think that, over time, I was able to identify a red line around which I could create a method that can be beneficial to the majority of aspirational players. For the past few years, I have been giving private instrument lessons to jazz players with varied backgrounds and experience. My educative career consists of a traditional classical, MA in classical saxophone (Conservatorio G. B. From day 1 Panagiotis has tailored my lessons to my personal music tastes which makes learning the instrument all the more enjoyable. His lessons allow me to learn songs to build up my repertoire as well as providing some more challenging songs to push my technique and skills. Although I did not specifically start lessons with the intention of learning any music theory Panagiotis has a way of making theory accessible to everyone and I now begin to actually enjoy learning it, which helps support what I do on the instrument. Panagiotis is clam, patient and has an approachable manner and is very supportive throughout the lessons and provides lots of positive encouragement.

As someone struggling with learning programming in Python for so long, Jerry's lessons literally saved me. His clear explanations helped me understand the concepts better, and the examples he provided helped me concretize the topics in my mind so that I was able to apply them by myself later. He was very patient and helpful when explaining the topics and when giving me time to think about the possible formulations of the algorithms, which released the stress of passing my university course and enabled me to actually understand the essence of Python and how to think when programming.

Alan is a great teacher and super nice guy. He pay extra attention to your problems with piano and try to fix them using smart and innovative methods. I like the fact that he sometimes doesn't stick to the 60 mins and ask to extend it if he feels something is missing or incomplete. I already had 7 lessons with him and looking for more. Highly recommended.
