With a KNSB rating of approximately 2100 and chess experience since the age of 6, I help students not only to find better moves, but above all to understand why a move is right or wrong. A higher rating does not automatically mean that someone is the best coach for every level. Especially for players between approximately 1000 and 1900, I find it important to explain chess ideas clearly, understandably, and practically. Lightroom is easy to use and has an efficient way to professionally process photos. It is also an archive system where you can organize the photos and find them quickly. In addition to editing the entire photo, you can also easily adjust the photo locally in the software. The combination of Panoramas and HDR is childishly simple and of very high quality in Lightroom. In the free Lightroom App you will learn the basic possibilities of the software. If you subscribe to Lightroom CC or CC Classic you have more extensive options. Lightroom CC is a limited version of the software. Lightroom CC Classic is the extensive version of the software that all professionals use. You do not have to work with Adobe's cloud. Photos can also only be on your computer. If you've never worked with Lightroom before, I'll quickly learn how the software works in 6 hours. For example 2x3 hours or 3x2 hours, at your home or with me in the studio. More experienced users learn the latest intricacies of the software within 1 to 2 hours. Lightroom is a fast and effective way to edit photos. You can quickly copy an edit from one photo onto a group of other photos. It is quick and easy to implement. Make your photos better with Lightroom. It is easier than you think. If you want to merge parts from different photos into an image, you go to Photoshop from Lightroom. You send me five or six recent ones, and in the first session I show you the pattern behind your losses - not the individual blunders, but the recurring decision that keeps costing you points. ABOUT THE TEACHER Martin is a professional photographer and photojournalist. Through his numerous personal projects, he is particularly interested in youth and geo-environmental issues. The 21st century and the upheavals that accompany it particularly fascinate him. During 2017 and 2018, he carried out numerous projects in South-East Asia where he was able to work for seven months. The most important of these is entitled The Faces of the Mekong. Using the mythical Mekong River and its resources as a common thread, it provides a broad perspective on the geo-environmental issues related to development in the Indochinese peninsula (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand). He has also focused on Vietnamese and Laotian youth through the prism of street sports and urban culture. In 2019, he travelled to Hong Kong to cover, among other things, the uprising of the pro-democracy movement, which earned him a nomination for the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents in the Young Reporter category. In parallel to his projects, Martin also responds to commissions from the press, NGOs and private companies. His work is regularly published in the French and international press (Le Monde, Libération, The Washington Post, Le Figaro, Vice, Reporterre, Mr Mondialisation, Fisheye Magazine). They have been awarded several times, including the François Chalais Young Reporter of the Year Award 2015 in the photo category. He was a finalist for the Grand Prix Paris Match du Photoreporter étudiant and a winner of the Young Talents Photo Prize by fotofever. These projects also lead to exhibitions and conferences. PRACTICAL OUTING For a more concrete and playful practice of photography, this outing will allow us to work on different aspects of photography: - Mastering your camera, whatever it is.
