Yu - Amsterdam26€
Trusted teacher: Hey, I am Yu. Nice to meet you. This lesson can help you set out to learn how to speak Hanyu, read, and write Zhongwen. For this purpose, you will study the Chinese alphabet (Hanyu Pinyin), characters(Hanzi), vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and common words and phrases. If you want to learn the Chinese language, you've found the right class! Course materials can be: -Standard Course HSK (for language ability test) -Experiencing Chinese (for immersive classes) -Learn Chinese with me (for schoolchildren and teenagers) -AP Chinese -....... -any tailor-made materials that interest you This course is designed in three versions for different kinds of participants: 1) A Beginner! - Have little or no prior knowledge of the Chinese language; - Want to learn how to make yourself understood in Chinese when traveling, for example, understanding and speaking common everyday words (and sentences) in different typical scenarios ; - Hope to express 1-10 and some larger numbers in China in speech or by gesture decently. *Some examples at this stage: - Hello! Thank you. How are you? - Sorry. / You're welcome! - I can speak Chinese! What's your name? - What's the date today? What's the time now? - I'd like a cup of coffee. Is this seat free? - (and other current Chinese usages in any scenarios you're interested in! ) **Naturally, pronunciation and the four vowel tones are an important part of the lessons, but participants also learn the principles of Chinese writing and gain an understanding of Chinese culture! 2) An Intermediate Learner - Have upper-intermediate knowledge of Chinese; - Need to increasingly enhance our active language skills, to expand your vocabulary, practice reading without Pinyin, and master more advanced grammar and fixed structures to be able to make longer sentences; - Interest yourself in being able to express your views on common everyday topics, like foods, drinks, gifts, weather, Chinese habits, and common practice. 3) An Advanced Learner - Can speak and understand Chinese reasonably well; - Attempt to deepen your understanding of Chinese culture and learn more advanced grammatical constructs to communicate more specific and complex ideas in Chinese, both verbally and in writing; - Focus on topics dealt with leisure and hobbies, hospitality, culture, arts, poetry, history, dynasties and civilization, of modern and ancient China. ***I have lived in China for over twenty years, traveled to many cites (including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hongkong, Macau, and so on), and have been educated at respected schools and universities. Currently, I am studying Social Sciences in the Netherlands and I am a fan of Chinese literature/Japanese anime/Marvel films, so it's also welcome that you would like to have an informative and interesting talk in Chinese about these topics. +China captures the imagination with its fascinating contrasts. A modern-day global economic entity that proudly upholds ancient traditions. Definitely, a good way to start learning more about China is by taking Chinese!

Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Sabine! I'm a soprano, actor, and singing teacher educated in multiple styles. I hold a degree in Vocal Performance (Classical + Pop/rock) & Musicology, and finished my studies at Fontys AMPA (Opera). I have also trained as an actor (film & theatre) at the Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam. My lessons are entirely tailored to your personal wishes. Stavroulla - Amsterdam27€
Trusted teacher: The practical insight has been developed throughout enduring studies from 2 different institutional perspectives inspired the urge to convey this to the art enthusiasts of all levels and age. Each age is special within the education similarly all targets pointed from the creative spirits creating thus various anticipations. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach. However the one who lasts for foundation and aspires him/her the concept of taking it further to possible academic preparation will grab charcoals, a spoke, the required papers, instal from simple to complex still life compositions and set forth the journey of academic drawing theory. And then, of course, start with colour, of both acrylic and oil medium. Pre-school children, children and teenagers are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. Needless to say that suchlike classes do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants. The aforementioned forms of classes are applicable to all ages.

Trusted teacher: In the Poetry workshop you will learn the basics of writing poetry. The form, the content and the theme are widely discussed. But we also discuss the history of literature, we pay attention to reading, and we analyze poems. After this workshop you will be able to write poems in a convincing way. For my poetry, below is a review by Hans Franse in Meander. EXTENDED The sun so exuberant and the people the nakedness of the trees and the thaw the coming of spring and the prey of a seagull in the shining river boats in the harbor and a wind keyboard under a deck of steel-grey clouds the people delighted and the trees on melodious streets and the quay the glamorous sparkle of the glass in blue storefronts God's grace the people one on their exuberant terrace Somehow this poem reminds me of Marsman in music and rhythm 'and in the floodplains / the horses gallop / with billowing tails / over billowing grass'. Every now and then I seem to recognize JC Bloem's gloomy outlook on life, but those are compliments. In summary, I think this collection is very readable. They are well-constructed and musically formed poems that sometimes conceal a strong social feeling through a mild irony. It seems to me that the poet suffers from this world, that he seeks the "entrance of heaven." Perhaps the poet also suffers as a Brabander in Amsterdam: no greater contrast than a warm Brabant village pub and the Hoppe café on Spuistraat. A beautiful book, beautifully arranged. After an initial hesitation about a melancholy that I mistakenly regarded as negativity, which I recognized too late, I read it with great pleasure and sometimes emotion.

Trusted teacher: Do you need help with passing the civic integration exam abroad? Family reunification or have you recently married and do you want to apply for an MVV or a residence visa to the Netherlands for your partner? In that case, passing the basic civic integration exam is a mandatory part. We offer Dutch language courses in Marrakech throughout the year, both in group lessons and individual lessons. The purpose of these language lessons is to prepare the student(s) as well as possible for the basic civic integration exam. Through years of experience and the knowledge we have about the civic integration exam, we know exactly what knowledge we have to transfer to our students. There is a very good chance that the student will pass the exam in one go. Because we are sure of our civic integration lessons, we give a 100% success guarantee on all our civic integration exam courses and language training. In the unlikely event that the student does not pass the exam, the follow-up lessons are free of charge until the student passes the exam. Learning the Dutch language is not easy. Certainly not for someone for whom the Dutch language is completely new. The state exam that must be taken at the Dutch embassy in Rabat requires an A1 level. An average student achieves this level within 3 months. Thanks to years of expertise and knowledge about the basic civic integration exam, we can already achieve the desired level in a crash course of seven weeks. The level and preferences of the students will be determined during a free intake interview. Depending on the level of the student and whether it concerns group lessons or individual lessons. Online lessons have recently become possible (Teams). This makes it possible to provide students throughout Morocco with a Dutch integration course. We also give a 100% success guarantee for our online integration courses. The Civic Integration Exam consists of three exam components. The candidate can choose to take all three exam components simultaneously on the same day. Separate from each other is also possible. The three parts are therefore independent of each other. Therefore, if you do not pass one of the three exam components, you do not have to retake the entire exam and you can retake the separate component separately. The three integration exam components are taken on a computer, also pay attention to this during the integration course. - KNS (knowledge of Dutch society) - Read - To speak In addition to giving language lessons up to A1 level, we also provide information and lessons about Dutch society. On the basis of a photo book, the students receive exactly the information and knowledge they need to pass the KNS component. Yu
Yu feels like a very experienced girl, she gives you the right kind of attention. Her command and enthusiasm of the Chinese language is out of this world. Not only will she teach you Mandarin very professionally, but she will also explain and give historic reasons for some notions. To put a word or phrase into context is in my opinion a very effective and pleasurable way of learning a new language. Within an hour we made so much progress; something I honestly did not expect. I'm very happy I found her and I'm already hyped for the many lessons to come.

John
John is an excellent tutor. He goes through the material very carefully and explains every aspect in a clear and understandable way. In my case this was for the subject matter linguistics. John is also a fantastic creative writing tutor and was super helpful to me when I was writing my essays. He is someone who really cares about giving his students a quality lesson that they can benefit from and I cannot recommend him enough.

Khatchik
Khatchik has a fantastic approach, to the point, no-nosense, and at the same time making the lesson enjoyable. He can ‘read’ by the student’s reaction whether the information registers or not, which is a great asset especially for introvert kids or those who don’t feel confident to ask the question.
