Course materials can be: -Standard Course HSK (for language ability test) -Experiencing Chinese (for immersive classes) -Learn Chinese with me (for schoolchildren and teenagers) -AP Chinese -....... -any tailor-made materials that interest you This course is designed in three versions for different kinds of participants: 1) A Beginner! - Have little or no prior knowledge of the Chinese language; - Want to learn how to make yourself understood in Chinese when traveling, for example, understanding and speaking common everyday words (and sentences) in different typical scenarios ; - Hope to express 1-10 and some larger numbers in China in speech or by gesture decently. *Some examples at this stage: - Hello! Thank you. How are you? - Sorry. / You're welcome! - I can speak Chinese! What's your name? - What's the date today? What's the time now? - I'd like a cup of coffee. Currently, I am studying Social Sciences in the Netherlands and I am a fan of Chinese literature/Japanese anime/Marvel films, so it's also welcome that you would like to have an informative and interesting talk in Chinese about these topics. +China captures the imagination with its fascinating contrasts. A modern-day global economic entity that proudly upholds ancient traditions. Definitely, a good way to start learning more about China is by taking Chinese!

Trusted teacher: As an experienced teacher I teach photography and image editing. I learn camera technology, work with compact and studio flash units and work out concepts and my own style. I teach beginners, experienced photographers and professionals. I help companies set up and set up a photo studio and train staff to become a professional photographer. We make a suitable lesson program depending on your experience and wishes. We also have a number of courses in which we teach you the basic techniques of photography. We work with supportive beamer presentations and readers in which the treated lesson components are clearly described. Below are a few examples of these courses: Photography with your Smartphone Would you like to learn more about photography with your Smartphone, Tablet or Compact Camera, then this is your chance. In this introduction course we cover the various institutions in 3 hours to take even better photos. We practice the different techniques during the lesson and discuss the results. In addition to technology, we are also talking about the composition, atmosphere and content of your photos. You learn how to make beautiful portraits and how you can best photograph a landscape. You learn how to control the color and brightness of your photo. We look at Apps to further expand the capabilities of your SmartPhone or Tablet and to edit, archive and share your photos with others. We work with motion blur and the focusing system. You learn to adjust the brightness and color of your photo and you assess the photos using the histogram and high light indicator. You learn the difference between JPG and RAW and how to set the correct amount of pixels. We import the photos on the computer and organize, edit and save the results. Trusted teacher: If you are reading this, it's not too late...you are in good hands:) Especially if you 're (going to prepare/ preparing) a portfolio for art/design school application. "Learning by making" From drawing, oil painting to creative thinking training through materiality. Each age is special and different visual styles can be worked upon and the outcomes can often be surprisingly authentic. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach. Classes are applicable to all ages. Personal Portfolio Class: If you are considering applying for art school or design school, you might want to prepare yourself and build a convincing portfolio, perhaps improve your presentation skill or even some confidence boost for interviews. We will first explore what talents you already have and those you will want/need to have, the goal is to help you develop your creativity and curiosity as well as your artistic skills and most importantly find out your inner talent for a direction that will suit you, whether in education or self-development. And we will do a live rehearsal for your interview for the best presentation result and confidence boost. Overall, It'll help you cultivate the soft and hard skills you need to be more confident setting and resetting expectations, strengthening relationships, and taking your projects across the finish line without any cold sweat. For Pre-school children, children, and teenagers: are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. We will also look at specific Artists and Painters, as well as specific Art History periods, and the kids will then be encouraged to play around and recreating their own version of the Artist or period. Needless to say that class do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes a teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.

Yu
Yu feels like a very experienced girl, she gives you the right kind of attention. Her command and enthusiasm of the Chinese language is out of this world. Not only will she teach you Mandarin very professionally, but she will also explain and give historic reasons for some notions. To put a word or phrase into context is in my opinion a very effective and pleasurable way of learning a new language. Within an hour we made so much progress; something I honestly did not expect. I'm very happy I found her and I'm already hyped for the many lessons to come.

John
John is an excellent tutor. He goes through the material very carefully and explains every aspect in a clear and understandable way. In my case this was for the subject matter linguistics. John is also a fantastic creative writing tutor and was super helpful to me when I was writing my essays. He is someone who really cares about giving his students a quality lesson that they can benefit from and I cannot recommend him enough.

Christiaan
I took a package of 5 lessons with Christiaan this summer. I wanted to understand how to use oil paint better. With Christiaan, we rapidly get to the point of the technical aspects of oil paint. He taught me the concept of layering in wet to wet and showed me examples of this in his current artwork. Christiaan is passionate about art and loves teaching! Highly recommended.
