Trusted teacher: FLUTE LESSONS in BRUSSELS with Malvina --- Private flute classes with a committed, enthusiastic and responsible professionally trained pedagogue with Teaching Diplomas, Master of Arts in Music and many years of professional experience /I am nearly 40y.o. and flute playing and teaching is my profession, not an extra job/. Those students and parents who found me at Apprentus left me beautiful recommendations that I really recommend reading below. Lessons can take place at my "Brussels Flute Studio", a few steps from station Petillon - metro 5, or tram 7, 25, or bus 34, 36. Etterbeek/Auderghem/Woluwe St Pierre a few minutes from Montgomery, Schuman and ULB. From September 2023 "Brussels Flute Studio" will be at Parc des Princes, Auderghem area. Metro 5 - Herrmann-Debroux, tram 8 - Tenreuken, bus 41-Transvaal. There is also possibility of lessons at student home or online. For each student I propose personalized method and individual approach. I am teaching how to play flute, piccolo and alto flute. Classes are in English, French or Polish. Beginner, Intermediate, advanced level; Young (+6) and older - all welcome. My students play in duos, trios, quartets and in the flute orchestra; at least a few times a year students play concert, go to competitions, attend workshops, Flute Festivals & masterclasses (for school year 2023/2024 minimum 6 events are planned); I am experienced in preparing for ABRSM exams; my students pass ABRSM exams with merits and distinctions! All the students need their own instrument. I help to find and buy an instrument, repair it or resell it. I am really sorry, but I stopped lending flutes because of my bad experience. There are only a few time slots left for a school year 2023/2024, but I would like to accept a 2-3 more students and i hope that the hours left may suit you. If you are interested, please contact me for more details.

Trusted teacher: Looking for a passionate and professional piano teacher for your child or for yourself? My lessons are designed to bring out the joy of music and enhance creativity, while also gradually improving technique based on age and individual abilities. As a dedicated and experienced teacher with a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, I take teaching seriously and am committed to providing effective lessons tailored to each student. I offer different approaches to suit the individual needs and goals of every student. Playing an instrument should be a delightful experience and that's exactly what my lessons are all about! PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN (3+) Are you a parent eager to introduce your little one to the wonderful world of music? My lessons are designed to be playful and engaging. Using specially adapted piano books, I'll guide your child through an exciting musical adventure, complete with stories and new songs to learn. We'll explore music through singing, movement, and rhythm, helping your child develop a deep and lasting love for music. SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN Unlock your child's full potential with the gift of reading musical notes! Learning how to read sheet music not only helps your child to learn new songs quicker but also gives them the freedom to play whenever they want without having to wait for their teacher. At my lessons, your child will discover the magic of musical notes through a fun and interactive story that introduces each character as a concrete musical note. The carefully chosen piano book and additional repertoire will ensure a progressive improvement of piano skills, while also allowing your child to choose the musical pieces they love the most. TEENAGERS Are you looking for a piano teacher who will encourage and support your teenager's passion for music? I offer an accelerated piano book specifically designed for this age group, allowing your child to progress quickly in their piano skills. If your child already has experience in playing the piano, I build on their existing knowledge and continue to expand their skills and creativity. I understand that every student has their own goals, whether it's playing for fun or aspiring to be a professional musician. That's why I adapt my lessons to fit your child's intentions. By offering a variety of musical pieces for them to choose from, and being open to their suggestions, I believe that playing a piece they enjoy is more effective in keeping them motivated. ADULTS Are you worried that you're too old to start learning the piano? Don't be! It's never too late to pick up a new skill, and as an adult, you have unique advantages over children when it comes to learning music. You have greater focus, a better grasp of music theory, and a strong motivation to succeed. Do you have a favorite song that you've always wanted to play but thought it was too difficult? There are plenty of classical and popular melodies that have been arranged for beginners, so you can start playing them right away. I'll also recommend a piano book specifically designed for adult learners, which will help you build up your skills at a comfortable pace.

Trusted teacher: In my music or music therapy classes, I adapt to the wishes of the child / adults and their parents / guardians: -I define the styles and genres of music he listens to (slow or fast) and would like to discover -I define his favorite way of expressing himself: manipulate, dance, draw in music, others -I define what we could discover: history of music, solfeggio games, feeling of rhythm, singing games, making instruments, etc ... -I want to know clearly the facilities and difficulties of the student. -I add moments of feeling of the body: walk in rhythm, type in rhythm, walk towards the treble / bass, etc ... - I add moments of relaxation by guided meditation: imagine that we are a tree, a pebble, well inspired / exhale, etc ... * In musical awakening and music therapy, my main tools are: -a music style album (to explore all the nuances and listen to it if the urge comes) Games to keep the child's attention -simple craftsmanship to make instruments -the families of instruments and baths very basic solfèges -work of the ear and initiation to the instrument with a melodica -the small percussions (eggs, maracasse, tambourine, castanets) choreography (simple) to develop coordination -music relaxation and sounds of nature * In my music theory classes, I define the knowledge to reach: -I work rhythmic and melodic reading -I make work the feeling of the rhythm and the relative ear -I explain as simply as possible the notions of rhythmic notation, armor, tone, scales, modes, intervals, etc ... * My main tools are: -solphege applications - reading aloud -Active listening and dictation -fiches on the basics of solfèges -games explaining rhythmic and harmonic solfeggio - the manipulation of small instruments to practice rhythmic and melodic music theory (because it's more fun, is not it?)

Flute lessons ONLINE with Malvina [Brussels Flute Studio]
Malvina
A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Thank you so much Malvina! Looking forward to our future lessons!

Violin lessons, music theory and the history of music / Viool voor alle niveaus (Etterbeek)
Katia
I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Violin and Piano lessons for all ages and levels - Cours de violon et piano pour tous les âges et tous les niveaux (Koekelberg)
Elvis
Elvis is enthusiastic and knows his stuff. We asked him to do three lessons back-to-back at our house (for 2 kids and an experience adult player) and he did a great job for all of the different levels of experience of the different pupils. We would recommend him for any level of student.
