Pianist graduated from the CRR of Toulouse, student at the HEMU of Lausanne, gives piano lessons at home

Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020. In parallel with my studies, I have always enjoyed sharing what I myself have the chance to continue to learn, so much so that I have been giving private piano lessons for 3 years. I believe that for the student to get the most out of his course, a great adaptability of the teacher is necessary. I therefore build my lessons according to the wishes of the student, both in the choice of the pieces he/she would like to play and in the space where the lessons take place, so that his practice of music does him good. ! It is therefore essential for me that the framework where the student practices his instrument invites him to feel confident, happy and relaxed and that the music is above all a source of pleasure, and not a constraint. My lessons include a "music theory" part, depending on your starting level, beginner or not. I come to your home if you wish, but can also receive you at my home in Pully.

My training took place in many schools, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Italy at the Conservatory of Cagliari with all the points and honors, in Paris at the "Schola Cantorum" I obtained a higher diploma with the maximum mention "Very good to the humanity of the jury" and I hold a Master's degree in piano obtained at the HEMU in Lausanne in the class of Mr. Jean - François Antonioli. I teach piano lessons in Lausanne, Montreux and Chexbres. My classes start at the age of 4, but also for older and older! I started the piano very early and never stopped this passion for the keyboard. Master in pedagogy. Classes are individual and ensemble: 4 or 6 hands, possibility to play in groups with other musicians such as violin, cello, vocals, guitar, brass etc ... 2 to 3 auditions per year, and I can prepare you for exams or competitions on request. The music theory courses are integrated into the courses. Possibility of giving classes in French, Japanese, English and Italian.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

The older I get, the more I love. Especially during these times of immense ugliness and hate, wars and conflict, music- that's always been all about love - is the home I keep returning to. To me, mentoring someone is all about sharing the love for the instrument, thirst about the material, desire to explore new musical paths and respect for whatever happens whilst playing. Not only we will explore technical paths and understand rhythm under a totally different light but also communicate through improvisation and modal principles. I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.
