The method is based on the principle that the signals we receive from the body are aimed at sending you to a happy, healthy and long life. In spiritual circles this collection of signals is also called 'the internal Guru'. Just as a wound on your finger heals on its own provided the right conditions are created, the body also heals the blockades and imbalances on an energetic, emotional and mental level. The body communicates with you continuously, through pain, tension, pressure, but also through love, inspiration, curiosity and zest for life. Although the body helps us to be happy, few of us Westerners have learned to listen to the body and act in line with its signals. Soooo... back to basics! From my own experience I know how tempting it can be to look for happiness outside of yourself and at the same time ignore the signals of the body. 15 years ago I ended up in a Burn Out, a very strong form of communication from the body, that it was really time for rest and reflection.
