Flute lessons for every level in German, English or SpanishTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The most important thing for me is to create a pleasant and motivating atmosphere in which the focus is on making music. I am convinced that the best way to learn the flute is to play the music you enjoy playing. The lessons are based on making music together, giving you the tools to practice at home in a fun and efficient way. Lessons can be given in German, English, or Spanish. No prior knowledge is required. I will do my best to tailor the lessons to your wishes and needs. About me: Nicolás is a flautist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied flute with Patricia Da Dalt at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel de Falla" and graduated with honors in 2020. In 2021, he moved to Switzerland to continue his musical studies. He first completed a Master's degree in Music Performance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with Sarah Rumer, and then a Master's degree in Music Education at the Zurich University of the Arts with Silvia Careddu, which he also completed with honors. He is a prize winner of national and international competitions, including 1st prize at the International Competition «La Flauta Latinoamericana», 2nd prize at the National Competition for Classical Music «Dr. Tilo Rajneri», and 1st prize at the 1st Flute Competition of the Conservatorio Superior de Música «Manuel de Falla». Between 2024 and 2025, he played second flute and piccolo in the Collegium Musicum Basel, and since 2025 he has been the principal flutist of this orchestra. He also regularly performs as a guest musician with various orchestras in Switzerland. In addition to his orchestral work, he is also active as a teacher: he teaches at the Weinfelden Music School, the Schaffhausen Cantonal Music School, and the Untersee and Rhine Music School, and also gives private lessons.

Recorder, flute lessons, from medieval to contemporary music for all ages.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! I am a professional recorder and flute player with a passion for both early and contemporary music, offering lessons on the recorder, flute, piano, and music theory in the Amsterdam area and online. I graduated with a Master's in recording at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Cum Laude, with a scholarship from The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Previously, I graduated from the Royal College of Music London with a First-Class Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Flute and Recorder. In 2021 I was a finalist for the Moeck/SRP recorder competition as part of the London Early Music Festival. I am an encouraging and dedicated teacher who believes that effective practice, rather than talent, is at the heart of any musical development. I share my expertise in how to practice well, varying your approach to make different connections rather than just repeating things - this also helps to keep practice interesting! I am also keen to help each student find their own voice and expression through music, tailoring lessons to each student's needs and goals. I have specialist knowledge of medieval, renaissance, and baroque music, and can help students to develop skills in historical performance and ornamentation/improvisation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Flute, Piano, Singing, Saxophone, Clarinet and Music Theory LessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach instrumental lessons (face to face from my Music Studio and online) on flute, piano, singing, saxophone and clarinet, as well as music theory. I also offer general musical skills sessions for young children who are not quite old enough to learn one specific instrument yet. I have experience as a Music Teacher and Lecturer for schools and colleges, so I also offer help with GCSE and A-Level Music. I attend regular Safeguarding training and I have an advanced DBS on the update service. I also have experience working with children who have special educational needs and EHCP’s. Learning music and an instrument as well as being part of a group or ensemble, is about much more than becoming a performer. The skills and techniques learnt, are incredibly versatile for use in other subjects as well as being valuable life skills. Below are some of the skills which are developed in Music: Co-ordination Motor skills Imagination Expression Commitment Discipline Organisation skills Self evaluation Confidence Team work Communication Support Setting targets and goals Sense of achievement I am also a Musical Director for choirs where the importance is on community, enjoyment, health and well being and making sure that people feel included and good about singing with a wide range of repertoire including classical, folk, jazz, gospel, pop and musical theatre. I also have experience of running school and college choirs, orchestras and ensembles. I choose repertoire of various genres for students to explore different sounds and styles, with some being quicker to learn but effective, to build a more instant satisfaction and confidence within the group, while other pieces are more technical, allowing students to challenge themselves. As well as being a solo Flautist, Singer, and Saxophonist, I am part of an acoustic Classical Flute and Guitar duo, a Folk duo, a Jazz ensemble and a Folk Rock band, performing at weddings, private functions, festivals and events.

Great experience taking a class on the Ney. She is friendly and explains the concepts and practice exercises comprehensively with a good pace depending on the student's level. I would be more than happy in recommending or taking more classes.
