I am professionally trained classical saxophone player and teacher. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach and perform in Europe (Slovenia, Austria, United Kingdom, Germany) and USA (St. Louis). I have worked with students aged from 5 to high school level, as well as adult beginners. Teaching using a French school method of saxophone I specializing in classical and contemporary music literature. I incorporate some music theory, specialize in building the correct saxophone embouchure (or the correct lipping), overtone technique for advanced students , airstream production and correct breathing technique. Adapting specific saxophone-technique methods to each student's needs and progress. Finding lessons fun is important for the success of learning an instrument so I always do my best to keep our lessons relaxed and engaging. Hello Recorder Lovers, I'm Jeongguk. I'm from South Korea and living in The Hague from 2011. I've been playing recorder for 20 years and I've got a bachelor's and master's degree on the recorder. (Royal Conservatory in the Hague 2011-2015, Korean National University of Arts 2005-2011). I'm giving both offline/online recorder classes to all ages and levels of recorder lovers. (Both soprano recorder and alto recorder available, even tenor/bass recorder too) For beginners, we'll follow the curriculum to learn basic skills and basic music theory such as posture, tonguing, breathing, fingering, tone quality, and reading music. I am offering lessons in playing the traverse modern flute as well as historical flutes and music theory at any level, from the beginner to the professional. This course, based on more than 10 years of experience in teaching, offers private lessons where everyone can find their unique contact with their instrument, deepen their relationship with music and develop a unique way of expressing themselves through music making. I teach from international method books and adjust my methods to the individual needs of each student. Taking two courses of the Alexander technique also helped me to develop an understanding of the essential connection between the body and our minds. This awareness can be very helpful not only for our musical performances, but also for our everyday lives. No prior knowledge is required. I will do my best to tailor the lessons to your wishes and needs. About me: Nicolás is a flautist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied flute with Patricia Da Dalt at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel de Falla" and graduated with honors in 2020. In 2021, he moved to Switzerland to continue his musical studies. He first completed a Master's degree in Music Performance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with Sarah Rumer, and then a Master's degree in Music Education at the Zurich University of the Arts with Silvia Careddu, which he also completed with honors. He is a prize winner of national and international competitions, including 1st prize at the International Competition «La Flauta Latinoamericana», 2nd prize at the National Competition for Classical Music «Dr. Tilo Rajneri», and 1st prize at the 1st Flute Competition of the Conservatorio Superior de Música «Manuel de Falla». Between 2024 and 2025, he played second flute and piccolo in the Collegium Musicum Basel, and since 2025 he has been the principal flutist of this orchestra. He also regularly performs as a guest musician with various orchestras in Switzerland. In addition to his orchestral work, he is also active as a teacher: he teaches at the Weinfelden Music School, the Schaffhausen Cantonal Music School, and the Untersee and Rhine Music School, and also gives private lessons.
