Eleonore - Paris50€
Trusted teacher: Hello, I am a professional cellist with a master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Passionate about teaching music and the cello, I have been teaching for many years in music schools (music ensemble XX, passion leitmotif), conservatories (replacements) and in the private sector. There is no age to start playing an instrument: my adult students show me day after day! As for children, they can also start very early at the age of 4 and a half. (A few months depending on personality and facilities) My students benefit from comprehensive teaching, whether they are beginners or very advanced, and adapted to their personality and needs. You will quickly discover: I am a very positive and encouraging person, which allows my students to progress with serenity in a comfortable environment. If necessary, I teach the basics of music theory and music theory, being able to go in-depth according to the student's interest and needs. Musical ear, concentration, physical dispositions, memory, ability to adapt, curiosity, musical personality: all these characteristics, more or less present from the start, will develop over the course of the sessions, and you will be quickly proud of your progress. My priority in teaching the cello is to establish true well-being with the instrument, both physical and mental, with patience, involvement and constant adaptation to each person's functioning. With the rigor necessary for learning any art, I teach you patience and the joy of paying attention to details. Beginners: By obtaining a healthy and comfortable technique, you will quickly create beautiful tones. Discover the secrets of this instrument with its sound and range so close to the human voice, and its benefits on the mind. You will also discover beautiful pieces of classical music (among others!) that are affordable quite quickly, depending on your investment. You can also come with the pieces that you like, and that you would like to play. This can give a good goal, additional motivation! Amateurs and advanced: if you want to go further in interpretation, or overcome technical difficulties encountered when learning pieces, or simply deepen your cello learning. Advanced: If you wish to take an entrance exam into a music school or conservatory, or obtain additional lessons for a cello exam, some musical and mental "coaching" courses can help you. I help you strengthen your self-confidence and gently repair your bad habits. You will also be able to meet others, one day if you wish, in order to create little duets

Raphaël - Paris41€
Trusted teacher: Welcome :) If you want to learn the clarinet, you've come to the right place! I am a professional clarinetist myself, graduated from the Royal College of Music in London (Global No. 1 Institution for Performing Arts). I am currently pursuing my concert career between Paris and London. Between us the choice to become a clarinetist is admit the original! But why this instrument rather than another? I was hesitant myself when I started. I found the sax.. “cooler”. But I finally fell in love with the clarinet. This instrument offers an incredible variety of repertoire! First of all Classical Music: The clarinet developed at the same time as Mozart. The composer was immediately seduced by this new instrument with its soft, pearly sound; he fell in love with her and wrote a magnificent concerto for her (one of the most beautiful ;)). Subsequently, composers such as Weber, Schumann and Brahms will deploy all their knowledge and sensitivity to make the clarinet sing. Jazz: Since the appearance of this new genre, the clarinet reigns as a diva among instruments. Gershwin dedicated a legendary solo to him in “Rhapsody in Blue”. The instrument shines with this effect of its own: the glissando (sliding from one note to another in a progressive and continuous manner). Subsequently, clarinetists such as Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Buddy de Franco... will forever mark the history of Jazz with their wild solos. Klezmer: If you don't know this genre, don't wait. Open Spotify or YouTube and type “Giora Feidmann Let's be Happy”. Sorry for your neighbors. You won't be able to resist the urge to dance and jump around. The clarinet, through the variety of sounds it can produce, perfectly imitates the modulations of the human voice: laughter, crying, singing... How not to fall instantly in love with this instrument which allows such a wide range of expressions? I have been teaching for 6 years now and enjoy sharing my passion for music on stage as much as in a more intimate setting during a private lesson. I had the opportunity to refine my pedagogy throughout my various experiences in teaching and find simple and effective methods to allow the student to progress quickly. My career as a classical conservatory musician and Jazz/Klezmer concert performer gives me the opportunity to offer a varied education. I guarantee that in a month you will already be performing your first track in front of your awe-inspiring family! I offer private lessons of Clarinet and or Solfège for children, adults, all ages from beginner to intermediate / advanced level (1st cycle / CEM / Specialized cycle). My teaching is based on a personalized musical follow-up: Discovery - Methodical learning - Initiation to improvisation, Jazz or Klezmer - Perfection -THE PLEASURE OF PLAYING- Music is a game. Despite the difficulties that the student may encounter in his progress, it is very important never to lose this fundamental dimension. Mozart was also of a very mischievous nature and it was said of him that he was an eternal child! My goal as a teacher is above all to transmit a passion for music. Learning an instrument can be long and tedious and the approach of some conservatory teachers is sometimes abrupt and academic. For my part, I favor a playful teaching adapting to the capacities of each one. My experience as a concert performer in the Jazz/Klezmer group Kanaï Trio, of which I am the founding member, offers me the possibility of extending my teaching to improvisation and to different musical styles (Jazz, Traditional Yiddish/Klezmer Music, Eastern Europe, the Balkans). My classical music studies at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris allowed me to develop my instrumental technique but also my knowledge of musical analysis, music theory, singing and music history. I consider these theoretical fundamentals essential to the study of an instrument. The student must above all understand the music before being able to flourish in the interpretation of the piece. One of the common difficulties for beginners or intermediate students is not being able to manage the air well, running out of steam quickly and thus losing the pleasure of performing an entire piece. In reality, the clarinet does not require the endurance of a marathon runner, but just an appropriate breathing technique: I have therefore developed a method based on breathing exercises, the search for good posture (specific to each pupil) and physical relaxation (with the elimination of tensions and parasitic gestures). The student will also have simple and effective technical tools to quickly overcome difficulties (placement of the mouthpiece, precise positioning of the fingers, etc.). See you soon ! :) PS. : -Possibility of traveling to your home (modular increase depending on travel time) LEZIONI IN ITALIANO REED POSSIBILI.

Félix - Paris29€
Trusted teacher: While creating a repertoire, we will work the ear, rhythm, technique. I focus on practice, improvisation, and the relationship between you and your instrument in order to have fun on your bass. Okay, but what are we doing? The basics: - the silence - harmony (scales, chords, intervals) - rhythm (binary, ternary, swing, shuffle) - the sound (technique, nuance) - the coding of the English chords (A = la, E- = E minor, etc.) - the musical culture and the different ways of listening to music A choice: - improvisation (learning to play without partition, becoming able to play with anyone, anytime) - group music in general (the modern bass, the different roles of the instruments in a group) - jazz (standards, swing, notions of harmonies and improvisation) - rock, funk (notions of groove, rhythmic placement, search for sounds, pentatonic scales) - music games for children The instrument remains a tool to make music, so we will work to become a MUSICIAN (with the help of a bass guitar). Any age, any level (to be evaluated during the first class) I preferably receive at home, or at least near my home (Paris EST). Having a busy musical life moves are to be avoided as far as possible. Do not hesitate to contact me for further information! Additional Information: It is important for your teacher to match you musically (unless otherwise, if you want to fill in gaps, or discover a new genre). That's why I present myself in a few lines, so that you get an idea of the kind of bassist that I am: I started bass more than ten years ago, I first discovered the instrument alone (self-taught training). I later played in several Rock formations. Rock I was interested in Funk (style in which the bass plays a key role). I then became more and more interested in improvisation and therefore Jazz music. I took two years of classes at the Conservatoire du 9ème arrondissement in Paris before joining the IMEP (formerly American School of Modern Music). Currently, I play in several bands: a jazz / funk band and a jazz / rock band. My influences (in bulk): Jaco Pastorius, Weather Report Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, George Duke, Miles Davis, Funkadelic / Parliament, James Brown, Prince, George Benson, John Scofield, Hendrix, Zappa, Stanley Clarke, Al di meola, Paco de lucia, Bob marley, Marcus Miller, Kenny Garett, Bill Evans, Lettuce, Brecker Brothers, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu, Led Zep, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, The Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Munir Hossn, Matthew Garrisson , Hadrien Feraud, Ron Carter, Linley Martha, Maceo Parker, Paul Chambers, Mike Stern, Bob Berg and many more!
