Trusted teacher: I've been playing the piano with great passion for 18 years, and over the past 5 years, alongside my studies and music-making endeavors, I've been teaching multiple students ranging from 7 to 50 years old. My expertise lies in truly understanding music theory and composing and improvising music. Having played in many pop and jazz (big) bands and creating daily compositions for solo piano and bands, I've developed an enthusiasm for these genres that I love to impart to my students. In recent years, I've also been heavily involved in music production, and lessons in this direction are also possible! I often use theory as a background to contextualize the songs we practice (which are often chosen by the student themselves). I use these songs to convey improvisation and composition skills. Additionally, I believe it's important for the student to develop their own way of learning. I strive to create a free yet disciplined learning environment.

Trumpet Lessons For Anybody Who Would Like to Learn! (Amsterdam)

My son has been now been studying with Lachlan for a few months. He had stopped playing trumpet because he schedule got very busy and it was easier for him to just give up. Now he is back playing and loving it. Lachlan is fun and very clear/easy to follow. He is flexible with his teaching and keeps the lessons lively and well paced. My son is happy to make the necessary time for both his lessons and practice. We would strongly recommend Lachlan to anyone and to any level of player
