Maths Teacher | Senior Year & Maths Specialization | Baccalaureate Exam Preparation | 15 Years of Experience

Maths Teacher | Senior Year & Maths Specialization | Baccalaureate Exam Preparation | 15 Years of Experience

Is your child in their final year of high school and understands the lessons, but struggles to solve the exercises on their own? He knows the formulas, but doesn't know how to use them in an exercise? Does he get stuck on problems or multi-step exercises? His grades remain low despite his efforts? Is he lacking in method, speed, or confidence? Or perhaps the Baccalaureate exam is approaching and he doesn't know how to organize his revision effectively? I can help him transform these difficulties into methods and skills. I am a mathematics teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and hold a Master's degree in mathematics. I primarily support high school students, especially in their penultimate and final years, following both the Moroccan and French curricula. 🎯 My goal: to understand why the student is stuck In mathematics, a bad grade does not always mean that the lesson is not understood. The student may have: • gaps stemming from previous years; • difficulties in understanding certain concepts; • methodological problems; • difficulties in analyzing a statement; • difficulty choosing the right problem-solving strategy; • errors in calculation or reasoning; • difficulties in writing a solution correctly; • a lack of training or confidence. My role is to identify these difficulties and to work progressively on the points that are really preventing the student from progressing. 📚 Preparation and support in the final year of high school Specifically, we can work on: • the functions; • limits and continuity; • Derivation and variations; • exponential and logarithmic functions; • the sequels; • antiderivatives and integrals; • probabilities and random variables; • geometry; • differential equations according to the program; • synthesis exercises and problems; • Methodology and writing. The content is of course adapted to the program followed by the student. 📝 Baccalaureate Preparation For a student preparing for the Baccalaureate, we can implement a structured approach based on: Understand → Practice → Correct mistakes → Try again → Gain independence We work with progressive exercises, exam topics and problems adapted to the student's actual level. The goal is not to mechanically memorize methods, but to be able to recognize a situation, choose a strategy and correctly construct a solution. For my final year students who were tutored in mathematics, I achieved a 100% success rate in the Baccalaureate, with 75% obtaining a distinction of "Bien" or "Très Bien". 💻 Interactive online courses The sessions take place remotely using Google Meet and an interactive whiteboard. The student actively participates during the session: he searches, reasons, writes and corrects his mistakes with my guidance. After the session, I can also provide screenshots of the work done so that the student can review the important points. 👨‍🎓 This support is particularly suited to students who: • want to improve their results; • have accumulated deficiencies; • understand the lesson but get stuck on the exercises; • need a more efficient working method; • are preparing for a test or exam; • wish to prepare seriously for the Baccalaureate; • want to gain autonomy and confidence. Each student has different difficulties. Therefore, I begin by identifying their needs before designing the work to be done. 📩 Are you preparing for a test or the Baccalaureate? In your message, simply tell me: • the student's level; • the program followed; • the chapters that pose a problem; • the desired objective. This will allow me to quickly understand the situation and propose a suitable approach. My goal: to help the student understand mathematics, master problem-solving methods, and approach exams with greater confidence.

Calculus I and II for Engineering and STEM Students

Calculus I and II for Engineering and STEM Students

I offer clear and structured Calculus I and Calculus II lessons for university students, particularly those studying engineering, science, and other STEM subjects. My aim is not only to help you solve problems, but also to understand the mathematical ideas behind the methods. I explain concepts step by step and connect calculus to practical applications in physics and engineering whenever useful. Topics can include: • Functions, limits, and continuity • Derivatives and differentiation techniques • Applications of derivatives and optimization • Integrals and integration techniques • Applications of definite integrals • Sequences and series • Parametric and polar functions • Introduction to multivariable calculus • Partial derivatives • Engineering applications of calculus Lessons can be adapted to your individual goals, whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, reviewing a course, or solving practice problems. As a mechanical engineer with university-level teaching and laboratory experience, I regularly work with mathematics in subjects such as mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and computational engineering. This allows me to explain not only how a mathematical method works, but also why it is useful. Lessons are interactive and tailored to your current level. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson.

Experienced Mathematics Teacher – Online Lessons in Geometry, Descriptive Geometry and Statics in Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian

Experienced Mathematics Teacher – Online Lessons in Geometry, Descriptive Geometry and Statics in Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian

I am a qualified mathematician and an experienced teacher with many years of experience teaching mathematics, as well as extensive experience in individual lessons with school and university students. I offer individual online lessons in geometry, trigonometry and calculus for school and university students. Lessons can also cover algebra, analytic geometry, derivatives, integrals and differential equations, as well as descriptive geometry and statics for students of technical secondary schools and technical university programs. Thanks to my previous technical education in building construction, I also have a strong background in technical subjects and spatial geometry. I focus on clear, structured explanations, logical thinking and spatial visualization, adapting each lesson to the student's previous knowledge, curriculum and individual goals. We can work on current school or university topics, solve exercises and assignments, fill gaps in knowledge, or prepare specifically for tests, exams and entrance examinations. My goal is not simply to solve a problem for the student, but to explain the reasoning and methods so that they can understand them and apply them independently. Lessons are taught online in Serbian, Bosnian or Croatian, making them particularly suitable for students from families from the former Yugoslavia who live and study in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or other countries.

“ Roland is a very good tutor. Lessons planned well and organized effectively, tailored to your needs. Responds to emails quickly and in a helpful manner. Good at explaining phenomena and showing you the most effective solution strategies. Overall I am very pleased with Roland as a tutor, and can recommend him to anyone preparing for the TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bsc selection exam. ”

“ Out 20+ teachers I sent requests to, Faten was one of the few who replied very fast. She understood all the specifics I needed for my son and started immediately helping him to speak although he was not eager at all. She is always reachable, her french is great and she really know a way how to make people speak French! Recommending! ”

“ She did a great lesson with my daughter. Hoping to use her for additional tutoring sessions. Update: Lina has been tutoring my daughter for many months. Lina is wonderful. My daughter used to get frustrated with math, but Lina has helped her excel in math! We hope Lina continues to be available for lessons! ”
