Leonard - Berlin18€
Trusted teacher: I study sports science and English as a teacher at the Humboldt University in Berlin and am currently writing my bachelor thesis. I offer English lessons as well as sports theory or practice from primary school to high school. I rather give German classes to elementary school students. For all subjects I would very much like to offer my help with exam preparation or homework. In English I would like to work with my student on tasks that improve vocabulary and grammatical understanding. I would also show how important it is to be able to speak English today, but also to bring up the history of the English language and its worldwide distribution to today's world language. Furthermore, I find it important to read texts together, analyze them and discuss the given topics in English, provided that the level of the students is sufficient. I give German classes mainly to elementary school students. Similar to English, I would support my students with their homework, prepare exams, try to enrich the vocabulary or also an understanding of the grammar. I am available as a teacher for sports theory but also for sports practice. I am writing my bachelor thesis in sports science. This offer may be more attractive for the upper level and the preparation for the Abitur exam in sports as well as for students at a sports school. For example, I would also meet the students on the sports field and practice the disciplines of athletics or gymnastics (in both sports I had a 1.7 in my practical exams at the HU).

Gareth - Cologne38€
Trusted teacher: Hello everyone! My name’s Gareth, I’m a young music teacher from Ireland specialising in the flute. I have recently moved to Cologne and am delighted to begin welcoming new students to my private teaching studio! I obtained my Bachelor of Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in the UK, graduating in 2015. This included a diploma in woodwind instrumental teaching from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). I then moved to Paris to continue my musical studies at the Ѐcole Normale de Musique de Paris on the Cycle de Perfectionnement. I spent 3 years there studying with the principal flute players of both the Opera de Paris and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, whilst also taking advanced classes in music pedagogy. I began teaching flute, saxophone, clarinet, bassoon and oboe in Northern Ireland at the Lisburn School of Music, and then continued teaching at the junior conservatoire of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In Paris, I worked for the Mairie de Paris as both a flute/woodwind and choir instructor, in both primary and high schools. I have consistently taught private students throughout all this, ranging from ages 4-80 and beginners through to advanced players. My teaching style is relaxed in nature, however structured and goal orientated. I enjoy working with my students to set short term targets along with long term goals, and together work out a strategy and plan to achieve these aims, with the overall aim being enjoyment and love for making music. I love working with children as well as with adult learners, at all levels from total beginners to advanced players. I teach currently from my new home teaching studio in Weidenpesch, Cologne. I have several slots to teach at the students home, however please contact me on here to arrange a time that suits. Travelling to the students home will include a travel charge unfortunately! I speak fluent English and French and am offering lessons in both languages! I hope to hear from you all soon, Gareth

Hello, My name is Santiago and I am offering individual and personalized virtual English classes to improve both your oral and written communication. The main focus of my classes is focused on developing fluent and structured communication of the English language either to prepare international exams, including the TOEFL and the FCE, or to be able to communicate properly in the professional field or to reinforce and maintain prior knowledge of this language. I am a graduate, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the USA. Having learned English as a child at the Ivy Thomas Memorial School in Uruguay, and lived a year and a half in Thailand, followed by 4 years in the USA I acquired great knowledge and fluency in the English language. In Thailand I spent a year and a half studying communication arts, which helped me, prepare for my studies in the US. I had several communication classes, learning techniques of how to speak better using not only our words but also our body to help us speak more naturally, calmly, and without getting nervous if we get stuck or forget what we wanted to say. During my career in the US, I was constantly writing essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduation I worked for a year, mainly having long phone conversations with people from all over the country. Nowadays the ability to communicate in English is essential and I am going to prepare you so that you can meet your goals. It could be, studying abroad, going to live in an English-speaking country, improving your communication in the professional field, or keep practicing so as not to lose the previously acquired level. If what you are looking for is to improve your knowledge of the English language, I will help you. My methodology is simple. Each person is different and I adapt the content of my classes to the needs and interests of my students. We all learn in different ways and at different times,

Adrienne
Adrienne was super punctual and had prepared the class really well, and even sent me content a few days before the class. Her lesson was really interesting and I felt like I learned more than just language skills by the end of it, because she provided interesting historical and social context to everything she shared with me.
