Trusted teacher: • Do you like to sing, do you want to tame the possibilities of your voice? • Are you part of a choir and would like to gain vocal comfort and autonomy? • Do you need coaching to work on your stage presence, your diction, your interpretation? • Do you want to discover the vast vocal repertoire of early music? I would like to help you move forward on the long and mysterious path of the voice. Let's meet to learn together around this fascinating and multifaceted instrument, both the most universal and the most intimate. MY VISION OF TEACHING Trained as an opera singer, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels since 2015, individually or in small groups. I know the classical repertoire well, and also the so-called "old" music. But I'm interested in all styles: musical, variety, traditional... For me, teaching singing is: • stand next to the student, look with him/her to see what the obstacle is, and look for solutions together to overcome it. • always show kindness, empathy, patience, non-judgment. I ensure that these values are present in every lesson I give. COURSE DESCRIPTION Audience: adults, teenagers from around 16 years old. (For younger children, you can contact me to discuss it). Course of a typical lesson: • 1st part: warm-up and technical exercises (posture, breathing, resonances) • 2nd part: work "in context" on a piece (recovery of technical elements, diction of the text, interpretation) Individual lessons or in small groups (2 to 4 people). If you have any special requests, please let me know. If you don't know how to read music (this is the case for a number of my students): that's not a problem! There are plenty of ways to learn and progress. MY MUSICAL CURRICULUM My background is quite eclectic: after a university course in art history and archeology in France, I studied at the Haute École de Musique de Genève-Neuchâtel where I obtained a Master's degree in Concert in lyrical singing. . I acquired, during my studies and my professional activity, a lot of experience of choral practice, and I was able to attend many choir conducting classes. Finally, I had the opportunity to specialize in early music: Gregorian chant, medieval music, Renaissance polyphonies, 17th and 18th century baroque music, ornamentation, notation, theoretical treatises, facsimile reading... In summary, I like things that are off the beaten track!

Trusted teacher: My classes are for any age and any level! I do important work on breathing and posture (essential aspects for accessing one's full vocal potential) with the "MDH Respiratory Coordination"* method, which was a revelation for me when I was able to see the rapid changes on my body and my voice. I have the pleasure of mixing this technique into my lessons :) Since these are private lessons, I adapt to everyone's demand. We can go together to discover your voice, work the vocal technique with specific exercises or through songs of your choice, explore the letting go, work the interpretation, the scenic expression, and many other things . My goal is to discover and reinforce what is present in the student, while keeping its authenticity. Sweetness, non-judgment, respect, exploration! If you want to do this way with me, do not hesitate to contact me. *“MDH Respiratory Coordination” The work of this method is focused on reducing muscle tension, in order to access its full respiratory capacity. This influences not only the functional state of the respiratory system, but also the voice and the person in itself. COURSE • Certificate of “MDH Respiratory Coordination”*. • Training of actors with Jack Waltzer, Paris. • Bachelor of Arts in Creative Musicianship (in arrangement, singing, film music, composition and performance) at the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), London. • Diploma in Popular Performance Music (singing and performance), BIMM, London. • Co-founder and co-manager of the folk singer-songwriter duo Marzella, created in 2009. Instruments: guitar, voice and keyboard. Concerts in Switzerland and Europe. Release of an album in 2015, then a 4-track EP, "Seasons of Life", in May 2019.

I am a professional singer with more than 10 years of vocal training and performance experience. I will help you to explore and develop your own voice and give you proper knowledge of your instrument. I am in love with music since my childhood and started learning the piano and violin at the age of 7. Since singing has always been my main passion, I started taking classical singing lessons at the age of 12 and contemporary singing a few years later. After finishing my high school education, I decided to move to London to get a wider perspective, where I started writing and realising my own songs and where I got to play in many venues such as The O2 Islington, 229 Venue, the Blues Kitchen among others with my full band. I also participated in some singing contests, such as Britain Does Variety and Open Mic UK, becoming a Grand Finalist on both shows. All this allowed me to earn stage presence, experience and to improve my skills as a songwriter, performer, bandleader and music arranger. In 2016, I started my education at BIMM, where I graduated from a BETC Diploma on Popular Music Performance (Vocals) and a BMus (Hons) Degree on Popular Music Performance (Vocals). My passion for music and psychology led me to do my final degree dissertation on the link between creativity and mental health, which opened my curiosity about music and vocal therapy, A subject I have been exploring and I like to apply on my lessons. I've been teaching contemporary singing since 2016. I'm passionate about taking care of my students' vocal health. Applying mindfulness and music therapy techniques, as well as contemporary techniques such as The Speech Level Technique, Brett Manning's Singing Success Technique or The complete Vocal Technique that allows me to give them all necessary insight into healthy singing techniques and body and mind awareness. I normally emphasise good technique, interpretation skills and improvisation to give you the tools to find your own sound. In lessons, we will focus on learning and mastering the songs you are interested in and I will plan the lessons according to the needs of each student. I like encouraging students to explore different contemporary genres such as pop, rock, R&B, soul, but also different styles such as jazz, world or classical music. I also offer music theory lessons for the same price, if you are interested in improving your musicianship. I am happy to incorporate a bit of theory (or as much as you like!) in the singing lesson plan.

Come and discover your own voice and its possibilities with me. I am a lyric singer (mezzosoprano) and I give lessons for all levels in French, English, German and Dutch. I am a lyrical singer, mezzosoprano, with a classical training. After starting my studies in Brussels, Belgium, I moved to Berlin, to study at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler. This is where I got to take lessons with some of the most important singers and pianists in the business, in such an inspiring city. After living in Berlin for 2 years, I spent 6 months in New York, before coming to Switzerland in September 2019 to finish my master's degree in lyric singing at the Haute École de Musique. Apart from my training, I have already sung recitals and festivals in Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Brussels and Vienna. I also participated in many international singing competitions; in Europe and the United States. I am especially passionate about classical music, specifically opera, but at the same time I also adore jazz, musical, and all other genres. My goal in giving singing lessons is to help you find and develop your own voice. I want to help you become as free as possible by singing, so that singing becomes even more fun and you feel able to do with your voice what YOU want to do. The primary goal in singing and making music is to have fun above all else! I work with people from all levels; if you are just curious to experiment with your voice, want to sing classical music or something completely different ... i look forward to finding out with you!
