Modern Greek lessons with the most efficient and easy way. ONLINE CLASSES AVAILABLE !Translate this text using Google Translate.

Modern Greek lessons with the most efficient and easy way. ONLINE CLASSES AVAILABLE !Translate this text using Google Translate.

This class is for foreigners living in Athens, Greece, that want to learn the basics (and more) of the Greek language for various reasons like business, curiosity to explore the greek language, communicating better with loved ones etc.. You will learn how to understand, listen, read and speak this complicated yet interesting and historic language. I focus a lot on the greek pronunciation and grammar, since those are the sections most foreigners struggle with. Along with the language, you will also learn many ancient greek words, because the modern greek language derives from the ancient greek and the grammar is closely related to it. Last but not least, you will be teached some things about the greek culture and history and if asked, you could learn about greek urban dictionary. I started gaining experience by volunteeringly teaching it to my foreign friends and to refugees since I was 16 years old. Moreover, the fact that I took many language classes growing up ( french, japanese, spanish, english), and still do, helped me learn new patterns from my teachers and apply them in my classes. BA in Political Science and History (Panteion University of Athens) I provide notes to my students. Communicate with me on Apprentus.

Hello guys! I am a native german who just moved from Stuttgart to Athens. Why you should book my lessons? Well, since I grew up in Germany I speak the language perfectly, but that's not the main thing that makes me different from other teachers. First of all, I know the intricacies of the grammar of the german language inside out and developed a lot of methods to memorize them all. Second, I know that every person learns different and instead of just giving you standardized tasks you possibly are over- or underwhelmed with, we'll discover together how we can help you in the most proficient way. Third, I will help you to overcome the fear of learning and speaking german. We all know the stereotypes: German is sooooo complicated, It's unfun and boring, etc. etc. etc. That is not true. It's not too hard, you can do it and I will help you :) While I easily can teach A1 and A2, I honestly excel at taking students from B1 to C1 to the next level. Feeling stuck at a certain level is often caused by the lack of practice and mental blockades that prevent you from practicing. Let me help you to overcome this. Actually you can even contact me if you already are C2 and I can help you with sounding more natural/improving pronunciation/using scientific language appropriately. The tuitions are held in English or German (if you are A2+ it rather is a mixture of both) and while I do offer online, I prefer the tuitions to be held in person, somewhere in Athens.

Teacher Raef, is an experienced teacher. My son enjoyed his first online lesson today with Teacher Raef. He’s a very dedicated teacher, dedicated towards his students learning needs and supports. Teacher Raef clears all doubts related to the topic instantly and with great clarity. He guides the student in each and every steps with patience and understanding. The best part of Teacher Raef is that he always encourages the student with his positive attitudes. This develops a sense of confidence in the pupil. Thank you Teacher Raef for your support and guidance to my son!!

Eliza is a great teacher!she is full of energy, she knows how to how to gain the trust of a child, to actively listen to the student, to adopt to its needs!my daughter felt encouraged, she opened up really fast and after the lesson finished she wasn't tired at all, on the contrary she was eager to tell us about what Eliza teaches her and she is looking forward for the next lesson!we would be happy to continue with Eliza but we have to take a break as we will have to rearrange our schedule and find again time-slots which are convenient for both Eliza and us

I thoroughly enjoy Professor Mariam's class. Her teaching style combines structured lessons, well-prepared, with engaging activities that make the learning interactive and enjoyable. She is a native speaker, thus she makes me better understand the culture of the language. At the same time, she fully understands my questions and stands always available to clarify and explain doubts. Overall, a great experience, fully effective in helping me grasp the language.
