A few years ago I founded the “Mezzo Institute for Music” in Ledeberg, Ghent. Do you want to make your dream of becoming a violinist come true? We teach violin to people of all ages and levels. Beginning violinists learn to develop their musical talents step by step, while advanced players hone their skills by taking on new challenges. With us you will receive pleasant and varied violin lessons, always adapted to your personal wishes and possibilities. Children aged 7 and older are introduced to the instrument in a playful way and learn to play their first pieces through simple songs and clapping games. Students who are a little older are introduced to the secret language of music and learn the solfeggio they need for the pieces while doing so. Adults are of course also welcome, with or without prior knowledge of solfège.

Bye everyone! Would you like to learn to play the violin in a fun, playful and relaxing way, at the pace that suits you best? Young, old, beginner, advanced? Welcome! You can also learn solfège during our lessons. It is often difficult to schedule music lessons when you attend a music school. Here you can combine both violin and solfège in one lesson. After finishing my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene), I am now in Ghent for my Master's degree at the Kask Konservatorium & School of Arts Ghent. I am eager to share the knowledge I have acquired and to help students who are really interested in advancing in the world of the cello, both musically and technically, as well as to transmit to my students the versatility of our instrument and its beauty. I focus especially on the relaxation of the body in order to find a good quality sound. Starting with a methodology adapted to the level of the student, together we can make great progress in the subject! Sometimes one can forget how important the use of the body is and how the right use can make everything easier, that's why I like to introduce my students to different fields related to body and mental relaxation.

Hello, I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! I am also able to teach with the Suzuki method. I teach children from the age of 3 and even adults. I organize concerts for my students at least twice a year.
