VIOLIN and VIOLA Lessons for Adults and Young Adults

I am a violinist from the United States is offering violin lessons to intermediate and advanced students in Bruxelles, Saint-Gilles. I perform in Brussels as a violinist and I have performed classical, early music, and contemporary music and have studied at Stanford University and the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. I teach students with a mix of ear training and more traditional approaches to reading music and learning music theory. High quality lessons for the serious learner and an opportunity to practice English! I normally teach in English, but can also speak French, and Spanish.

A student at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent gives violin lessons in Brussels.

- The Suzuki method is fun and practical for beginners - We'll work on technique (position, scales, a little music theory) and musicality (I'm open to any musical suggestions): as a composer myself, I don't hesitate to play or improvise accompaniments with my students for a more collaborative experience. - I can teach violin and viola, having studied both - My courses are aimed at beginners, false beginners, and intermediate level students (2nd cycle of conservatory)

Classical or Popular Music lessons for Violists/Violinists

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

Viola & Violin Private Teacher (College Student) !

Hallo, my name is Chloe Slane, and I am currently finishing my degree in college right now studying abroad in Berlin. I have played the viola since I was 8 years old, and started on the violin at 6. I am currently getting both a music degree in Viola Performance and a Philosophy degree, in a 5-year Double Major Program through a school in New York. I will be in Berlin for the whole school year & most of the summer, so if you are interested and cheap & easy lessons for your kids to learn some more, I am happy to help out! I am an advanced level, have been playing for about 12-13 years, and it has become one of my main professions in life, so it is very much a skill of mine. Although I am young, I love helping and teaching kids as well, as it sparks interest in many!

In our lessons I want to help you discover how YOU sound, even before we start talking about notes and music pieces. When it comes to playing existing music, we will work with any music that you love, transcribed to your level.
