Have you ever been interested in studying music or even a brass instrument? I am a 22 year old student from Estonia and I am studying at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. I am offering lessons for playing the tuba, euphonium, trombone, french horn and the trumpet. Also offering lessons for music theory and playing the flute or the piano. In my class, I teach piano in a way that allows you to make progress on your own. "Don't give a man a fish, instead teach him how to fish," is the idea here. My methods include, besides basics, approaches to expressing your own musicality, stable memorization, practice habits and efficiency, technical ease, focus exercises, body awareness, and stage fright. Hence, I am best suited for intermediate and advanced students that have the desire to either study piano on a collegiate level or make significant improvements for themselves. I would like to add at this point that I have a special affinity for the concert etudes by Frédéric Chopin. However, I am perfectly happy to start with students from the very beginning as well and regardless, I will adjust to my student's needs upon mutual agreement. My free times that I listed as available are a rough estimate, lesson times are normally negotiable.

I want to make the marimba student aware of the different sounds that a marimba can produce, by using those sounds I want to improve his technique and teach him to phrasing. All this from relaxation, because many percussionists are not aware of how much tension there is in their body when they play, and in which places. We also look at the different techniques that are possible on the marimba and we look for which one suits you best. I teach both beginners and advanced students.

Like you, one ramdon day I got this little tube in my hands (17 years ago already!!!), and it has been accompanying me since then, playing, studying, and teaching all around Europe. Now I am based in Antwerp, giving live and online lessons. Dear Pianoteacher searchers :) If I describe my lessons I would say they are playful. The students play a lot, there is not so much talking about technique. Only when a difficulty comes up, then we explore together where the problem starts and how to solve it. I want the student to be able to study after the lesson without my help so one day he or she can take a score and play. Thats why I like to give homework so that the lessons progress. That being said, my lessons are also playful, because I put no pressure when the student couldn't practice. The most important for me is that the lesson is a space that gets you closer to music and that makes exploration possible. I studied 4 years Piano in Germany and now I study Piano in Antwerp so I have many years and teachers as expierence which can help us explore in the lesson how you can understand and listen to music and how you can practice, so you can do it yourself. My name is Ana and I am a Spanish flutist living in Antwerp. I offer flute and music classes for any level and age live or online. I have already finished my flute bachelor in Zaragoza (Spain) and now I am studying the Master in the Royal Comservatory of Antwerp.

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

I am a Master student of Violoncello in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen and I offer private music and cello lessons! I have experience teaching to children all ages and adults too. We can also organize music lessons for small groups of children (friends, family...) I am very enthusiastic and I adapt the content to your level. I will start learning Dutch as well, so soon enough I will be able to do the lessons in Dutch too!

I have experience teaching violin to beginner and intermediate students for over 15 years in California, United States. I recently relocated to Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students who are interested in learning more about the violin. A bit about myself - I began playing the violin at age 9. I am a classically trained violinist and have performed with orchestras, chamber groups, rock bands, and jazz groups. I have performed in venues including Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House. Though I never pursued violin performance as a university major, I continue to maintain my skill, teach, and perform regularly.
