I studied music in Spain, Poland and now at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I have been teaching for so many years and I adapt the lessons to all the levels and to what would you like to improve. If you are interested in music theory (history of music, music theory, harmony...) or in learning flute! Just go for it!!

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I offer private lessons in piano, music composition, music theory, and harmony. My classes are open to both children and adults, whether you want to study music as a personal hobby or pursue it on a professional level. Lessons are tailored to your goals: from discovering the joy of playing piano and understanding the basics of music, to developing advanced compositional techniques and deep theoretical knowledge. I create a supportive and inspiring environment where students can grow at their own pace, while staying motivated and challenged.

In piano lessons, we use the book method of Notus or Hal Leonard. Everything is explained step by step and you gradually learn to read music and know the piano. At the start of our lessons we'll take a look at what is important to you. What goals do you want to set, and what feels achievable and comfortable? We set long-term goals of, for example, a year. Completely tailored to where you are at, right now. During the lessons I am patient, motivating, encouraging, and complimenting. I'll point out what could be better, and also pay attention to how you can play more easily. And much more. Tailored to your needs and wishes.

I will teach you how to play from scratch or help those who already know how to continue learning. I can also help you prepare for an exam or presentation. I will explain and show everything. I am responsible for instructing students with the skills they will need to become successful musicians in their own right. This includes the basics of teaching how to play an instrument, as well as fundamental concepts such as tempo, pitch, and rhythm. I specialize in tutoring folk and classical music!

My name is Jorgina, I am dedicated to nurture a genuine love for music to children through personalized piano lessons. I am Spanish Antwerp-based, I play violin and piano since the age of 6. I help young musicians build their skills and confidence by focusing on creativity, independence and a fun learning experience. My goal is to help each student fall in love with piano by adapting the lessons to their interests and needs ensuring an enjoyable first contact with the instrument. I always propose a customized repertoire based on the student choice, from classical to modern music with the possibility to explore composition and music production in Ableton. I can teach in English or in Spanish and I offer the lessons at my place or I can travel to my students location.

Besides teaching all the important aspects of piano playing, I would like to share my passion for music with my students and help them build a solid base in a fun and interactive way.
