Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more.

Lucía isn’t just an exceptional language instructor. She’s a genuine companion in the learning journey. With her deep linguistic expertise and insight, she meets you exactly where you are. For me, Spanish had always been a patchwork, familiar but scattered. Lucía saw that and crafted each lesson specifically for me, precisely tailored to fit just right. She even went the extra mile, dedicating her time and effort to figure out where I stumbled, noting down every tricky word that I struggled with. The way she used AI to craft materials pinpointing my weak spots was incredibly thoughtful and effective, and my progress came faster than I’d imagined. And when grammar, that infamous hurdle, got overwhelming, she had a gift for making it engaging and approachable. Her serene patience felt endless, always steady and comforting, even when I needed something explained five times. Thanks to her, I didn’t just regain confidence in Spanish, I felt genuinely supported, both intellectually and emotionally. Lucía is like a shaft of sunlight, casting warmth and lighting the path, just as her name suggests. If you want someone who not only adapts to you but walks beside you, Lucía is that rare gem.

I have been learning with Anne for almost 8 months now. I cannot even begin to thank Anne for her amazing teaching skills and how much she has helped me. I have struggled with French for years and I finally found a teacher who both pushed me but is also patient and accommodating to my needs. I was also hesitant at first to have an online teacher, but her teaching methods and skills actually made it easier that she was online, also in terms of managing my time and schedule with her, I did not feel that anything hindered my progress having her online. Her great personality and experience as a teacher overall further helped with my fear and difficulty in learning French, and having her as an online teacher. And finally, she has a great teaching structure and a curriculum and material (which was important for me) to provide for the student through structured classes, while taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of the student.
