I was a French and Spanish teacher at the secondary level and I am currently a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher in adult education. I have also helped students refine their study methods according to their individual profiles. For me, the most important thing in learning is being in a supportive environment. I make a point of adapting to the person I'm working with, allowing them to progress at their own pace and encouraging their development. I like to create a learning environment that's conducive to enjoyment: it's important to me that learning is fun and that I ensure the key concepts are understood before moving on to the next stage.

This course is designed to help students reinforce their existing knowledge while allowing them to see their progress. I will primarily use the student's own notes to better adapt to their level. It's important for students to become aware of their difficulties so they can then correct them independently and strive for autonomy. This is how methodological work can begin, by understanding their strengths and weaknesses. As a trained speech therapist, I am able to help and train children/adults (and their parents) in a learning method that best suits the child's abilities as well as their academic needs.

Thank you for visiting my profile! Here is my course offer, my strengths and information on my background. A question ? Write to me! COURSE OFFER Until Secondary 3, I offer tutoring in all subjects, most often in mathematics and English (and therefore also: French, history, geography, working method for science, Latin and Dutch). From 4th to Rhéto, I still offer support in French, English, history and geography. Regardless of the student's year, I also help when preparing assignments, presentations and oral presentations. At the student's request, we can also take stock of the presence, diction and intonation for public speaking. MY ASSETS - Relaxed relationship - Student empowerment - Concentration and stress management - A top working method! WHO AM I ? My name is Valérie and I am 31 years old. Multi-graduate, I remain an eternal student. Even when I was little, still at the beginning of my primary schooling, I was looking for ways to learn more easily. This search for rapid and effective study continued with me during secondary school, to which was added the challenge of following them in English immersion. The personal learning methods that I had developed took on even more meaning when the thick university syllabi piled up on my desk. As with everyone, university learning remained a challenge to overcome. However, my methods have allowed me to mix quantities of subjects over the years: political science, sociology, intercultural management, anthropology, museology... Versatile and jack of all trades, I have also followed various personal development training courses. , or even in art therapy. Today I am taking up a challenge that invites me to explore other ways of enriching myself and learning: I am starting my 3rd year at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur where I train in singing classic. These studies differ in many aspects from those I have accomplished so far. Therefore, they offer me the chance to seek to understand all the more how to adapt my methods to very diverse subjects. In this busy course, I have been giving private lessons for over 10 years. I am enriched by contact with the students and it is a wonderful reward to see them develop their own methods and rediscover their abilities and skills.

Master in history, and the aggregate of secondary education. History is a subject that is often seen as boring in secondary education. This is often due to poor contact with the teachers, or to the unfavorable class climate. History being my passion, I want to help those who would experience difficulties in this subject, while provoking their interest and their desire to learn! I like history and I like to transmit the taste of it. So, with me, no fuss! The framework of private lessons allows you to get rid of the heavy atmosphere of a classroom to speak without detours. In this way, we get to the heart of the matter more quickly, and with less stress. No matter the level, the delay or the difficulties that are reproached to the school, here we are there to progress without judgment or guilt. You will be able to come back to theoretical points of the course that you did not understand, on know-how, or skills, whether you are in general or qualifying.

Great experience in school support. Trained in mental management up to a consistent level (level 3 with IF Belgium), my approach consists of starting from where the student is to accompany him towards a better understanding of his own way of understanding, working, to remember a lesson, to make things happen in class in the classroom. This very rich work, focused on the young person and his needs, has the merit of drawing from his resources to help him regain his self-confidence. I saw young people in a bad situation, on the verge of dropping out, finding curiosity and wanting to learn. I help primary and secondary students in all subjects. After the second high school I focus on the subjects of literature and languages (French, history-geography, philosophy, English etc.) that correspond to my curriculum. Graduate in Modern Letters in France, University of Nantes (Bachelor).
