Welcome to the music theory course for beginners, intermediate and advanced! You'll learn the basics of reading notes, rhythms, and intervals, as well as advanced topics like scales and chords. My interactive lessons will help you develop your musical ear and your theoretical understanding, all in a friendly atmosphere and respecting the student's needs!

As a professional pianist with a passion for teaching, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now, at conservatories, music schools, and private lessons. I hold a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory and a master's degree in teaching from the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur. I adapt to each student's profile so that they can flourish musically!

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! I am a cello teacher, musical awakening and music theory. My classes are for people of all ages. From toddlers to adults. I graduated with two bachelor's degrees from the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid and the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels. I graduated from the Master's degree at the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels with Olsi Leka, principal cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra. After studying at the A. Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto in Italy where he obtained the highest distinction, Gabriele then completed his Master's degree in violin with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Mons with M° Eliot Lawson and Wibert Aerts. During his training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and took masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Stefano Pagliani, Elisabeth Perry, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén and Chouchane Sironossian. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with M° Shirly Laub and M° Frédéric d'Ursel in a specialized master's degree and Agrégation at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. In 2018, Gabriele won the audition for the Jeugd Antwerp Simphony Orchestra (ASO) and for the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (NJO); in 2019 he won the audition for European Union Youth Orchestra (Euyo) and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and is also selected in 2020 for the Young Belgian Strings as well as the Antwerp Philarmonic Orchestra. He has collaborated with several orchestras in Italy and Belgium, including the Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, the Ataneres Ensemble in Louvain, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Tournai, the Assai Symphonia in Hasselt, the Orchestra of Archi Italiani and the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy. Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice. Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

Hello, I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! I am also able to teach with the Suzuki method. I teach children from the age of 3 and even adults. I organize concerts for my students at least twice a year. Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Graduated with a Master's degree in clarinet from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, a Didactic Master's degree in clarinet and a didactic master's degree in musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, I propose to give you lessons at all levels of clarinet and/or musical training. I study at the Royal Conservatory of Mons and have been playing the piano from a young age. I have several years of teaching experience and know how to adapt to the student's goals. In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music. I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil. I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to targeted repertoire and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music.
