During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching the violin for 10 years, while continuing my activity as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic. I adapt my lessons to each student, by offering courses focused on technique or more free, according to each person's expectations. My adaptability extends to all levels and all ages!

In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music. I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil. I also aim to include some violin duos, to be played with me during the lessons, as I believe playing with other musicians is one of the best ways to enjoy music and learn useful musical and technical skills at the same time. Another essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change. I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to targeted repertoire and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music. I give lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Hello! I am Christian, I have studied in Alicante, Düsseldorf and Florence, and I have worked with numerous orchestras throughout Europe and in Uruguay. I have been teaching violin classes for about 10 years and even preparing entrance exams for higher conservatories. In these classes, we will approach the traditional instrumental repertoire with an original point of view, analyzing all scales, ornaments and elements of virtuosity. Shalan is a Syrian violinist and composer. Although he was educated as a classical violinist, he has performed in several orchestras and ensembles of Arabic music, with some of the most outstanding Arab singers such as Fairouz, Marcel Khalifa, Rima Khsaish and others. The academy offers more than 50 courses of traditional music and dance from around the world. From the oud to the kora through the gypsy guitar, the tango violin or the Brazilian drums, all classes are given by professional musicians and dancers in different locations in Brussels. Each teacher cultivates his own pedagogical approach. Music theory is not necessary for a good part of the courses, since learning is often based on oral transmission, as it is the case for many cultures of the world.
