I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from the renowned School of Popular Arts (SOPA) in Berlin, a university specializing in various disciplines of the popular arts. I have been passionately producing music for over 7 years, combining both technical expertise and creative flair in my productions. However, my musical journey began even earlier through DJing, where I gained valuable experience across a variety of projects and styles.

Recently, I launched a YouTube channel where I share insights into creativity and the creative process. For me, it's not just about technique but about discovering and following your own unique creative path with passion. My experience as a producer, DJ, and creative mentor shapes my teaching, helping you get the best out of yourself and your music.

Opleiding

I finished my Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design at the School of Popular Arts, Berlin in 2023. During my education I studied Music Theory, Composition, Arrangement, Sound Design, Teaching and much more.
Over the years I additionally attended music production classes online as well as workshops offline.

With nearly 8 years of experience as a music producer, I have developed a deep understanding of the production process, consistently refining my craft. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach at various levels, sharing my expertise with aspiring producers and helping them navigate the complexities of music creation. I’m also in continuous conversations with other producers to stay up-to-date with industry trends and deepen my technical knowledge, always striving to push the boundaries of my creativity.

I view teaching vocals and songwriting as a therapeutic, holistic process, where my students learn techniques and practical tools that help them hone their craft, but also work through psychological blockages that make them into greater artists.

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better.

I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play.

When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises.

I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :)

I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition.

My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France.

My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones.
