The Devanagari script is used for many languages such as Hindi, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi and Rajasthani. It is a phonetic script in which each letter has a certain sound, like in Latin script, but much more precisely and is written from left to right. The basics are taught with examples of how German words can also be written in Devanagari script. I teach how to write by hand on paper as well as on a computer / smartphone. As I learn to write, I gradually begin to teach Hindi, incorporating comparisons to German and English. After I convey the teaching material via Whatsapp, we can meet via Zoom once or twice a week to discuss everything.
