Professionnel de l'infographie depuis bientôt 30 ans, j'ai découvert les délices de l'animation 3D au début des années 2000. J'ai eu l'occasion de travailler en studio sur la réalisation d'un long métrage (Glenn the Flying Robot (Biff 2010, Marc Goldstein, Osiris Entertainment) et plusieurs courts métrages (dont : Control, E. Somkiat, Anima 2012).
J'ai également utilisé ces compétances dans le domaine du marketing et communication (Vesuvius / METEC 2015 / 2019 / 2023) pendant de nombreuses années. J'enseigne aujourd'hui Blender en animation 3D au sein de l'EPSE d'Enghien (Bachelor infographie).

Au long d'un parcours balisé, je propose de mettre au service des créateurs graphique un outil en open source, extrêmement puissant, qui met à portée de l'individu un art jusqu'ici réservé à une équipe nombreuse et aguerrie.

This specific course focuses on the basics of modeling. Box modeling, sculpt, hard surface, according to your interests, whether for the realization of assets or characters. At least a 90-minute summary on the subject, or a more complete training based on a project to be defined with you.
This course is associated with a common reference site accessible between courses, including content, shortcuts used, tutorials and additional exercises.

Blender and 3D Animation Creation: Rigging and Animation

Blender is more than just animation software; it was designed to cover all aspects of animated filmmaking, integrating asset and character modeling, animation, lighting, special effects, compositing, and video editing. This course will present in detail all the tools for building a rig - bones, constraints and drivers.
We will also see how to manipulate a humanoid rig in order to animate a character.
Through simple objects, we will learn to edit in motion using keys and to control its evolution in space.
This course is associated with a common reference site accessible between courses, containing the content, shortcuts used, tutorials and additional exercises.

I teach Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro from beginner to advanced.

In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications.

The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management.

Structure:

The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions.

I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs.

Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

This is a hands-on experience course about filmmaking. We go through all the procedures of you making a short film which is going to be the fruit of your effort :)! We work on the storytelling (does not have to be a conventional type of a story, there is no single way of telling stories), analysis of the script (if any), making a shot list, looking for the crew, taking shots, post-production (mainly editing), receiving feedback, and voilà!

Video editing is a essential and often overlooked skill nowadays. More and more people need video for their business, carreers, hobbies or other personal projects, and the easier way to make a video go from amateur looking to professional looking is to improve the quality of the editing. Besides that, things like a good workflow, asset organization and other good practices when editing will speed up the edit and make the process as a whole more efficient.

In my classes, I believe in understanding the student's needs for video editing and thus curating the content I teach to fit those needs.
