With over 10 years of experience in documentary filmmaking, I offer professional training in cinematography, editing, and color grading. I studied Film, Video, and Multimedia in Korea (both bachelor’s and master’s degrees) and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Film at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam. I have also completed specialized cinematography training in Seoul and the official DaVinci Resolve color grading course. My work spans short films, art films, and performance films in both Seoul and Amsterdam.

Intermediate: DaVinci Resolve
-DaVinci Resolve interface and settings
-Color grading techniques using DaVinci Resolve

-Analyzing data and applying color grading techniques for RED and ARRI cinema cameras

Hello! I’m Sojeong, your Korean teacher. I studied film and documentary, and I’m very interested in art, history, and culture. I’m a curious person who constantly wants to learn new things. With my passion for learning and curiosity, I want to support you on your journey to learning Korean.
I began my career as a Korean instructor by teaching the language to my friends. I specialize in teaching Korean through cultural content such as Korean films, dramas, and songs. In addition, even for beginners who are just starting to learn Korean, I use an approach similar to how native speakers learn their first language, making the process easy and enjoyable. In my classes, you can experience learning the language with your body rather than just your mind through repeated practice.
If you study with me, you’ll be able to learn Korean easily and enjoyably. Just like talking with a friend or like a mother teaching her child, I will help you naturally acquire the language through repeated listening and speaking. In addition, you will naturally learn about the history, culture, and society embedded within the language itself. Through Korea’s hidden but wonderful cultural content, I will help you understand Korea more deeply and from various perspectives.
