Creative Writing is a subject for those with imagination, talent, and a passion for literature, film and television, poetry and so much more. Whichever pathway you wish to discover, this class will give you the necessary skills to develop and explore different styles of writing, giving you an example of industry-standard work.

This class can help you work towards English Language/Literature/Creative Writing qualifications at many different levels, hopefully inspiring you to pursue a university education or career in this field. However, if you simply wish to explore your talent in fiction writing, I can provide insight into the industry and university level education of this subject.

Extra information

You may use your laptop or a notebook. If you would like, find a copy (physical or digital) of your favorite novel/poem/short story, or if you enjoy screenwriting, an example of your favorite film or television show. This is a fun way to learn about what you enjoy and may like to write.

This class is for aspiring actors, singers and writers. The focus is to train your body, voices and minds for performance giving you techniques and skills that will build up your confidence and self- esteem.
My teaching methodology is the "art comes from the artist". I teach skills that enables the student to explore, understand and nurture their own ideas to turn it into art.My teaching methods wont only bring out the actor in you, but also the writer, director or designer if that is the path you may want to go down. I am patient and fun and treat my students with respect and integrity. I expect the same from them.
We will be exploring play scripts, film scripts and pieces of music from musical theatre.

I specialise in tutoring adults and students English language and literature at GCSE and GCE level. My goal is to build students' confidence in reading a range of texts and writing with variety of audiences in mind. I ensure i use challenging, topical texts that are guaranteed to engage the learner and have fun doing so. I can set further academic, pre exam prep ( PEP) tasks linked to the session that build on prior learning ( aka homework). I use National curriculum and exam board marking schemes and levels in line with your school / college.

These sessions are best delivered in a sequence based on certain aspects of any given exam paper. The focus is to learn how to confidently navigate each section and question per paper. You will learn to skilfully apply the appropriate knowledge and skills per question in a forensic approach to completing each question to a high standard. I have just completed my A-levels (predicted A*, A, A) at Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form, and I'd like to tutor GCSE and SAT students in English Literature and Language (my favourite subject) during my gap year.
