It doesn’t matter if you are starting to learn the cello or if you never played it. Music can be fun to learn and explore and I would love to show you that during my lessons. I am fluent in German, Portuguese, Spanish and English. The lessons can have the duration of 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 mins. They can also be online, at my location or at the students location. According to each person needs and preferences. The main goal of these lessons will be to help you reach your expectations as a cello player and as a musician, either you want to delve into improvisation, methodology or just prepare for an exam I do my best to adapt my lessons to your needs. Also along the way I hope I can help you discover new works or music genres and also help you understand musical notation. The most important part is that you improve and learn how to express yourself through music regularly and have fun with that knowledge. My lessons and teachings are never the same. I don’t follow just a method or a “Cello Schule”. I insert a lot of different subjects, games and improvisation during lessons to make them more creative and fun. As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals. In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances. I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE). I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.
