The lessons are adapted to all the levels, from beginners to professionals, and to all styles considering your interests in the music field.
We will treat all the specific aspects regarding the knowledge of the saxophone (technique, breath, articulations...), the music theory ( scales, chords, rhythm exercises, harmony, arranging for other instruments...) and the jazz improvisation ( chords progressions, transcriptions, jazz standards...).

However my aim as a teacher is to discover with you the beauty of this art, enjoying, playing and listening to music together.

Hi, I’m Giovanni, a professional saxophonist and composer active on the Italian and international jazz scene. Teaching is one of my greatest passions: I create personalized lessons that combine technique, improvisation, and musical expression.

I enjoy working with students of all levels — from beginners discovering the saxophone to advanced players deepening their jazz language and improvisation skills. My approach is practical, modern, and supportive, making learning enjoyable while helping each student develop their own musical voice.

Whether online or in person, my goal is to share my experience, guide your musical growth, and inspire a lifelong love for music.

Classical Saxophone M.A. - Conservatorio “Nicola Sala”, Benevento

Jazz Saxophone Degree with honors and special mention - Siena Jazz University

Student Exchange, HKU Conservatorium, Utrecht (NL)

Private studies and workshops with Steve Coleman, Miguel Zenon, Joel Frahm, Walter Smith III, David Binney and many others.

Extensive performance experience at national and international jazz festivals: Siena Jazz, Umbria Jazz, UJazz Festival (NL), Johnny Răducanu International Jazz Festival (Romania), Ground at Yellowhouse (Rotterdam), UJazzFest (Utrecht)

Collaborations with Italian and international artists in various projects and tours, including a recent tour in China

Experience teaching saxophone and jazz improvisation for all levels, both online and in-person

Recorded albums, participated in masterclasses and workshops with top jazz musicians.

I am a professional trumpet player from Rome with a Master in Orchestral Music from Frosinone College of Music.
In addition to classical experience, I've always played several kind of music, such as ska, reggae, funky, brass band, rock'n'roll and blues.
I give private lessons for different players' level, since the conservatory years. I've always find it really motivating due to the mutual exchange of knowledge, both musical and personal.
