Looking for educational, versatile and fun piano lessons? Look no further. My name is Áron and I am a 26-year-old performing artist and educator from Hungary. I have been playing the piano for over 18 years and I have taught students of all ages, from beginners to advanced musicians. What can you expect from your piano classes with me? My main goal, apart from teaching the technique, theory and repertoire, is to show students how much joy music can bring to their life and to let them expand their own musical ideas. You will be able to discover the importance of musicality, artistry, the role of music in our life, the attitude of playing, listening, composing and experimenting with new sounds. STRUCTURE BY LEVEL Beginner* I have got my own techniques of teaching kids (lots of colors, shapes, children songs), as well as adult beginners. What’s most important in this stage is to let the student enjoy the sound of the piano, and be satisfied and motivated after a lesson. Together we will work on a certain repertoire that will help you improve your technique and hearing skills, develop your musical knowledge and creativity. Intermediate* With students of this level, we will work more on perfecting the harmony, technique, and transcription. You will learn how to improvise a more challenging repertoire that requires the practice of both technique and music analysis. Advanced* Depending on your goal, I am going to help you develop a certain part of your piano playing. We are going to dive into details of harmony (jazz harmony), improvisational skills, compositional skills, stage skills and more. *Classes can be tailored to your needs and particular areas of interest if needed. In my lessons we can work on various styles from pop and jazz to classical. We will work on building technique, music reading, playing from chord symbols, improvising and playing by ear. The joy of playing the piano, and making music together are core values in my lessons. We can think of the goals together, and the lessons are always tailored individually to match the students level wishes. I'm primarily teaching adults and teenagers (from approx. 15 years on). Hey! My name is Daan and I am a keyboard player, producer and songwriter and I am happy to teach piano at your home in Amsterdam. I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam pop department and am also very active in bands (as a keyboardist, singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer) and as a producer/songwriter in various genres. As a teacher, I am mainly concerned with what the student wants to achieve and what can be gotten out of the student. Do you want to learn that one new song by Billie Eilish, or an advanced piece by Stevie Wonder; I can always help you. The great thing about music is that you can learn and perform it at all kinds of levels. My job is to find the right level for the right student, so that progress can be made at the same time as there is fun during the lessons. Hi, I'm Alex. I'm a classical clarinet player from Greece, currently living in the Netherlands. I studied classical clarinet performance at the University of Macedonia, Greece and at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I offer Clarinet lessons for all ages and levels, piano and music theory lessons mainly for beginners. I especially enjoy working with kids, as I have experience both in teaching and caring for children. I take a holistic approach in my teachings (viewing the student as a whole) and tending to the individual's different needs. My name is Mathilde, I am a French violinist, pianist, harpsichordist, producer and composer. I have graduated from the world’s great institutions such as the Royal College of Music London, Manhattan School of Music New-York, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and Paris-Sorbonne University (in musicology). I have been performing concerts around the world in the most prestigious concert halls including the Châtelet Theatre and Seine Musicale (Paris), the National Opera House (Oman) and La Scala (Milan), as well as many other venues in Europe, US, China, Middle-East. During this period of time, I had been playing in the Orchestra Academy of La Scala in Milan for 2 years, and I am currently playing at the Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam. With the experiences I gained over the years - including the teaching experience in the Conservatory of Cambrai (France) - I became an expert in teaching violin and keyboards as well as music theory, including writing and reading scores. I have been teaching to the different age groups and different levels of technical backgrounds (beginner or advanced). I can easily adapt myself to the level of each student to create a synchronicity and help them pursue their goals and wishes. I am there to help them as a teacher and a music coach for their musical career. My name is Paolo, I’m an Italian pianist and composer. My musical life started when I was 9, moved by a bit of curiosity I put on a classical music CD, the speakers played Chopin’s 1st Ballade and that was the first time I had goose bumps listening to a music piece. This experience was so strong that I wanted to recreate that feeling, so I started to study piano. The instrument is really good for a first approach to the music; after a little while, with lessons and practice, it’s possibile to play a very simple composition with a great satisfaction. Through out the years I faced many obstacles, especially technical difficulties. I had great teachers who helped me to know and understand the instrument, they also taught me to love the music I was playing without shame for mistakes. Like in sports you need to train yourself, learn movements and adjust coordination, but it’s also very important to love what you are doing and be passionate about it. This is what you will learn with me, in a friendly and relaxed environment. I studied in Brescia, Milano and Amsterdam. My main fields were piano, chamber music and composition. I have taught piano and music theory during my time in Italy, currently I perform mainly in The Netherlands.
