About Me

I was born and educated in Vienna, being raised bilingually. Currently, I am studying for a Bachelor's degree in History and German at University College London. I consider myself to be a passionate reader of all types of literature, ranging from fiction to non-fiction.

I have been tutoring German, English, History and French for a little over a year now and have found working as a tutor to be immensely rewarding. Helping people achieve academic goals or personal targets has been one of the most essential experiences I have had the pleasure of discovering.

I am a recent graduate happy to tutor in history, politics or economics as well as broader essay writing or university applications. I have a first class MA in International Politics from King's College London, a BA in History and Politics from Oxford University, A* in history, politics and economics at A-Level, and 10 A* at GCSE. In classes, we will look at the context in which these plays were written, the cultural impact they had and how to use this in essays to demonstrate your broader knowledge of the set texts. Aside from the plays themselves, it is important to understand the wider world of theatre. We will look at the plays of Samuel Beckett, Jean Genet and Theatre of the Absurd for Dario Fo. The history of Theatre censorship and the Royal Court Theatre is crucial to understanding Edward Bond's Saved.

This class will give you the opportunity to explore these complex texts with a practising playwright, and the expanded knowledge of these plays will give you that edge when it comes to the exam.

I provide A-level and GCSE History tutoring. In classes we will work on strengthening knowledge of the subject as well as practice essay structures/planning and exam technique. Homework will be set when necessary but I will always take into consideration the students' school timetable first. I will happily provide progress reports.

For Bachelor students in History/International Relations/ related subjects the classes are individually designed to address the concerns of the student. This could include clarifying topics/knowledge or essay/exam help for example.

This course is designed to understand ancient,medieval, modern and world history. History is sometimes treated as a boring subject but most of my students in the past enjoyed this subject as most people forget connecting it with the contemporary world but this will be taught in this course.

Studying History can seem lengthy and boring at first, it's a lot of information and too vast to even memorise! You may often ask yourself, "is there a shortcut I can use to memorise so many dates and information?"
One thing about History is, the more you think it's difficult, the more you lose interest in it!

I begin with describing the meaning, purpose, and approaches to history answering basic questions like what is the need of studying history when we can instead look at the future!
