I have a first class MA in International Politics from King's College London, a BA in History and Politics from Oxford University, A* in history, politics and economics at A-Level, and 10 A* at GCSE. I have 5+ years of experience tutoring students of various ages (from 4 to 40+) as I used to work free lance for the tutoring company Enjoy Education based in Chelsea. There I tutored French, English, Business, Political Science, Political Economy and Social Pyschology.

I also spent a year as a headhunter in the financial sector and can help with applications and CVs.

My baccalaureate experience (jury presidency, development of subjects, evaluation of subjects, etc.) allows me to help your child understand the expectations of the SES baccalaureate test. In addition to my career in secondary and higher education in France, I studied cognitive sciences. These allowed me to acquire tools to help students understand and assimilate their lessons; such as speed reading, mind mapping or even sophrology.
I offer 2-hour sessions during which we work on your child's course or from my own materials. After a presentation and a brief study of the learner's profile, we work on knowledge to be mastered that we then put into practice on subjects of baccalaureate records.
I prepare students for the SES E3C or final exam (compulsory education and specialties: social and political sciences or in-depth economics).

Je m'appelle Ambre et je suis une élève en deuxième année à UCL.

Je propose un service de cours particuliers dans toutes la matières de l'école maternelle au lycée. J'ai moi-même fait un bac ES donc je serai plus enclin à aider les élèves de cette filière.

J'ai obtenu mon baccalauréat avec mention très bien et suis très à l'aise dans toutes les matières. Je suis également bilingue en anglais et français.

Pour les plus jeunes élèves, ayant moi même un petit frère de 8 ans, je m'adapte facilement et suis très à l'écoute avec les enfants et peux aussi bien faire les devoirs qu'organiser des activités en français.

I offer ISS courses in French at 2nd, 1st and Terminal levels. I obtained the mention TB in the Baccalaureate and the mark of 17/20 in SES. I had the opportunity to give ESS lessons to my sister and several other students in Terminale. I have experience in the preparation for the Baccalaureate of SES, in the revision of the courses, in the writing of Dissertation and in the training for the composite test.

I offer one-to-one private tuition to university students and adults in Political Science, Essay/Dissertation-writing, Political Economy, Economics, and European Studies.

I have 15 years of experience in high-quality private tuition, and I am also a Lecturer in EU Politics at one of the world’s leading universities (University College London).

My main areas of specialization are European Union politics and political economy, but I also regularly teach all other areas of Political Science, including Public Policy, Comparative Politics, Introduction to Politics, Populism, Democratisation, and many more. My approach to teaching is results-focused. I first discuss with the student what are his/her objectives (this may be achieving top marks on a final exam, being able to undertake exercises given as homework, or increasing their understanding of certain aspects of a subject). We then devise together a work plan, to ensure that the student meets those goals.

This approach has been very successful in the past, as it is not only important to understand a certain subject, but also to be prepared for the particular type of examination or assessment that the student will need to face.

I have a Ph.D. in Political Economy from Utrecht University, a master's in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).

I teach either in person in London (ideally at UCL), or via email exchanges for written advice. Unfortunately I do not offer online classes.

I am a highly passionate and committed history student at UCL fuelled with a desire to share my educational expertise with GCSE and A-Level History and/or French students. As a previous high-achieving and enthusiastic GCSE and A-Level student that achieved nine 9’s at GCSE and two A* and one A at A-Level, I believe that the knowledge and advice I have acquired would be extremely beneficial and I am thus eager to support students in fulfilling their academic aspirations.
