I'm offering flute and recorder lessons for children (from the age 4 years) and adults with ten years experience.

I am a professional classical musician with years of teaching experience in the UK. I'm a professional violinist and teacher, who graduated from conservatories in Gdansk, Maastricht, and Brussels. I'm also a violin teacher at The British School in the Netherlands in Den Haag. If you are looking for a violin teacher, you just found him in my person:) I propose individual methods of teaching, not based on any specific school, but open to the wishes and level of any single student. The most important thing is to have pleasure in the process of learning how to play the violin. My motto in teaching violin are words of my teacher, the legend of violin, Wanda Wilkomirska: "You can do something wrong technically, but always you can play beautifully." Being a soloist myself I always remember these words also when I teach. My aim as a teacher is to show you how to have joy and comfort in playing the violin to enjoy it further on in performing for an audience.

I am a graduated music teacher with German degrees in music pedagogy, Artistic Studies (K.A.), and Historical Informed Practice. I shape my lessons in the most dynamic way, often accompanying the Piano. I also like to follow the musical taste of my students and I am qualified to give a well-grounded technical instrumental formation.

Music has always been my biggest passion and I really enjoy sharing it with other people. My main music genres are pop, rnb, ballades, a bit of jazz, and soul.

When it comes to singing, I know some basic techniques and can help with pitch, harmonizing, control, and feeling comfortable/confident when singing.

I am a student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Early Music department, the beautiful and special instrument Harpsichord is my main subject and my passion. I am offering harpsichord, piano and solfège, lessons, on top of music theory for beginners and intermediate levels at home and also online.

My name is Uma and I am originally from Spain. I have been living in The Hague for the past five years. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Flute in Madrid and a Master’s degree in Zürich, I recently finished a Bachelor’s degree in Early Music and historical flutes at the Koninklijk Conservatorium The Hague. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education, which allows me to continuously refine my teaching approach.
I have more than 10 years of teaching experience and enjoy encouraging curiosity while adapting lessons to each student’s interests and needs. All ages and levels are welcome, and I strive to make learning music both structured and fun.

Bassoon lessons:
In this lessons you will be able to learn how to play the bassoon, to blow and tune, to play in groups, understand the harmonic and melodic system of the interpretation of the different music styles. You will be able to learn how to make your own reeds and how to repair them.
Duration of the lesson is generally 60 minutes, but it can be always the student`s choice. The dynamics of the classes is focused on the interpretation and musical understanding, as well as the elaboration and maintenance of reeds, all looking for a positive, dynamic and fun environment.

Music Theory lessons:
Here you will be able to learn how to understand the composers and their music; historical and theorical reasons of why music is written in different ways during the evolution of music history. You will be also able to learn how to read and sing music. Composition skills are also available.
The duration of the lesson is under choice.

Both bassoon an music theory lessons can be combined.

I am teaching all levels, all ages, all kind of stile on the violin or viola. Of course mostly classical, but if you wish we can also play folk, pop or other kind of songs.

We can focus on playing, on musicality, technical skills, chamber music, as you wish.

We could also do general music education, or basic practical musical skills and training the ears.

I don't use one specific method since I feel every person function differently I i like to design something personal what works the best.

Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.
