Additionally, I have been teaching Maths at the International School of The Hague since 2019. In 2022, I established my tutoring academy (Thehaguemaths), where I provide both group classes and personalized 1-on-1 lessons. Throughout my academic journey, I have devoted a significant amount of time to assisting fellow students and children (up to Graduate level) in mastering both basic and advanced mathematics as well as physics. My tutoring experience includes working with students from the International School of The Hague and the British school, covering various curricula like IB, EB, British (GCSE, O-level, A-level). My educational background consists of a BSc degree in double Maths and Physics, and I hold an MSc in Mathematics with an impressive CGPA of 3.91 out of 4.0. Following my studies, I briefly ran a tutoring academy before relocating to The Netherlands. In my teaching approach, I don't follow standard programs or lessons. Instead, I tailor each lesson to cater to the individual needs and interests of my students. If necessary, I provide exercises for practice at home and offer supplementary notes related to the lesson. My main focus is to instill confidence in my students, showing them that they are capable of solving problems and making the learning process enjoyable and engaging. I believe that when students see the fun and rewarding aspects of mathematics, they become more motivated to excel in their studies.

Trusted teacher: My name is Daniil. I am a pianist and composer from Ukraine. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in composition, piano, and pedagogy at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2018 and my Master's in Music composition from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2020. The main power of music is in its ability to open up worlds of communication that are inaccessible otherwise. Therefore, in our lessons, we will use technical exercises, solfège, and music theory (if/when needed) to achieve the level of performance that will allow for the ultimate goal – having fun playing for or with your friends and family. Apart from working on your favorite pieces and classical repertoire, we will work on your skills of sight-reading and improvisation. We will also play pieces together, either on a piano in four hands or with me on the violin. I have almost ten years of experience teaching piano, composition, solfège, harmony and counterpoint, and music theory. Among my students were kids aiming for (and succeeding at) admission into higher music education institutions, conservatory students who needed help with their music theory and piano classes, and kids and adults who studied music in their spare time. No matter what your goal (or lack thereof) is for studying music, we will find an appropriate pace, structure, and repertoire. The classes can take place either at my house in Scheveningen or at a student's location in The Hague.

Trusted teacher: I'm a 32-year old guitarist and composer based in Den Haag, teaching electric and acoustic guitar, in combination with music theory (if that is of interest to the student). I teach in English or in Greek. I am half Greek and half Scottish and I have been living in the Netherlands for the last 6 years. I offer lessons in all styles, to all age groups, and for any experience level (ranging from students who have never touched a guitar before, up to advanced players who are looking for new challenges). Face to face lessons are preferable, but I also teach online. I am a patient and open minded teacher, and my desire is to help you learn what you want to learn, and make sure you have fun with playing the guitar and nurture your curiosity and excitement about the world of music creation ! My Credentials: I hold a Bachelors of Music degree from Birmingham Conservatoire (UK), and a Masters of Music from The Hague Royal Conservatory. My experience as a guitarist ranges from classical guitar studies, to playing electric guitar in rock bands, as well as experience as an improviser, performer of notated contemporary classical compositions, creator and performer of ambient and electronic music. I also am very experienced in ambient and electronic-influenced guitar music, which has given me an in depth knowledge also of the guitar in combination with technology such as guitar effects, computer software and multichannel setups which expand the audio palette of the guitar. I have written songs, I have written orchestra pieces, I have worked as a DIY home producer, I have released albums, and I've performed in concert halls, rock venues, squats and festivals. I even some experience in beat-making. After many months of lessons I can say that Sobia has excellent experience in teaching & tutoring and above all has a human approach to tutoring my daughter which I think is very important. She understands that the tutoring is as much about rebuilding my daughter’s confidence, as it is about teaching her how to do math. She is also punctual, capable and reliable. And the proof of the pudding is in the eating, my daughter’s Math scores have significantly improved over the months, she is now much more comfortable with the subject and able do the work, no more panic and tears!! These things take time, it’s not overnight, but Sobia was there for my daughter and made it happen. We are so grateful!!

I am very happy with Dominyka as my voice teacher. With her guidance, I have been able to improve my tone and widen my range much quicker than expected. Leessons are a joy: Dominyka can immediately hear and see what needs focus and explain what I must do to improve. This process is dynamic and fun, and I feel motivated to practice every day because I am inspired by these advancements. She can demonstrate many techniques with her beautiful voice. What an exceptional French teacher Mathilde is! She carefully coordinated with me to design a customized trial class for my (reluctant) 7-year-old daughter. They ended up baking a cake together, discussing ingredients and process in French only - and by the end of the class my daughter was a French enthusiast, already putting full sentences together. I have appreciated Mathilde’s dedication, patience and teaching skills immensely, and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough.
