Trusted teacher: I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to work weekdays, week evening and weekends. Which ages and levels do you teach? The majority of my students are between the ages of 10-18, but I also teach college Students. I am also helping foundation and first year university students. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, IGCSE, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs Describe your arrangements for online tutoring? I use Zoom online sessions since it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning. I use Google drive and docs to share files.

I offer personalised one-to-one maths lessons designed to build strong understanding, confidence and independent problem-solving skills. My goal is not only to help students get the right answers, but to truly understand the concepts so they can apply them in new situations. In each lesson, I first explain the theory in a clear and structured way, making sure the student fully understands the topic before moving on. I check understanding by asking questions and encouraging the student to explain the ideas in their own words. Once the foundation is clear, we work through exercises together. I always let the student try first, guiding them step by step with hints and support rather than giving the answer immediately. This helps develop critical thinking, confidence and long-term learning. I adapt every lesson to the individual student’s level, pace and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving exam technique and creating a positive mindset towards maths. I also use real-life examples and visual explanations to make the subject more engaging and easier to understand. I have an international background and studied in the Cambridge system, and I am currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science at the IT University of Copenhagen. I work daily with mathematics, statistics and logical reasoning, which allows me to explain complex topics in a simple and structured way. I can teach in English, Danish or Spanish and support students from both international and local programmes.

My daughter had private tutoring for the Physics CCVX exam with Bibek, and we are extremely pleased with the experience. Bibek is a very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding tutor who truly focuses on the individual needs of the student. He adapts his teaching methods according to the student’s level and learning style, which helped my daughter gain confidence and improve her understanding of difficult concepts. Bibek was highly motivating and supportive throughout the process, encouraging her to stay focused and positive even under pressure. My daughter had a very tight deadline to pass the exam, and Bibek handled this challenge with excellent organisation and clear planning. He structured the lessons efficiently, prioritised key topics, and ensured that time was used effectively. Thanks to his guidance and dedication, my daughter was able to achieve her goal within a limited timeframe. Bibek demonstrates all the important qualities of a great tutor: strong subject knowledge, adaptability, clear communication, motivation, organisation, and genuine commitment to the student’s success. I would highly recommend him to any student looking for high-quality physics tutoring.

Tom had given economie lessen to both my children that are on the middle bar school. My kids were lost, going very bad specially in economie and with limited understanding at school lessons. I decided to hire Tom, was difficult to find someone that give lessons to teenagers and that was knowledged. Tom has been with us the last months, my kids began understanding better, getting the point and scoring better at school. Sometimes I could overhear the online lessons or even 'live lessons' when he came home. Tom is great, with lots of patience, straight to the point, know how to explain, never lose the temper. We are very happy and will certainly recommend him. He is very professional and can motivate the students in a very good way. Thanks Tom!

Ghous is a very kind and pleasant teacher. He explains everything clearly and is always responsive and supportive. He adapts to the student’s pace and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling and learning preferences. He has a strong command of Electrical Engineering topics and is able to explain even complex concepts in a simple and understandable way. Ghous is also very helpful with assignments, even when they are in a different language, which shows both his deep subject knowledge and his adaptability. I’m very satisfied with his lessons and would definitely recommend him to others.
