My name is Paula and I am a violinist, violin teacher and orchestra musician. I have a "Master of Music" in violin at the Saar University of Music with Prof. Joshua Epstein and I am currently studying in the master's program in chamber music with Krzysztof Chorlezski, violist of the Belcea Quartet, and Mario Blaumer, cello director of the Saarland Radio Orchestra. I'm also doing an internship in the Philharmonic State Orchestra Mainz, but I spend most of my time in Saarbrücken. I also completed a two-year course in osteopathy, studied two years of a bachelor's degree in education and a course in neuroanatomy. When teaching violin, I am particularly interested in how the brain works and its relationship to the body and concentration, as well as working with emotions, which can be applied to both music and life. I teach violin privately and at two schools in Germany. I have played in orchestras in Germany and Spain, for example the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie or the orchestra of the Comunitat Valenciana (Opera in Valencia), and in concert halls such as the Elbphilarmonie or the Berlin Philharmonie. I am also a member of various chamber music ensembles, especially string quartets. I live in the center of Saarbrücken and mostly teach at home, but I can also come to you. Welcome to my profile! My name is Fabiola, and I am a violin and viola teacher and children’s orchestra conductor based in Maastricht. I work with students of all ages, creating a supportive, creative, and personalized learning environment where each student can grow at their own pace and enjoy making music. As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals. In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances. I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE). I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.
