The course that I am offering you is built around the student, their needs and desires, while leaving a door open to the many horizons that computer music can offer. No solfegic knowledge is required although the basics can be taught if you feel the need. We can explore together the technical and artistic facets of composition, written or improvised live performance, or even mixing. My master software is Ableton Live, and I also program in Max MSP, so if you feel like it, we can also explore the extraordinary that Max for Live (M4L) offers Ableton! If you are on another software I may be able to convey to you a number of main principles but would be less detailed in the knowledge. In the same way, if you have a synthesizer or other hardware that you want to understand better, I could give you the basic principles, and we can study the specificities of your machines together.

When you are writing music, it is very important that you show your music to people. Someone with experience in composition, even better. It is sometimes difficult to take that step to show your pieces that you have worked hard on. But this is a very important step, it makes you more confident in your own piece. From then on, people can receive feedback and evolve further. In my lessons, I work mainly on structure and learning to compose.
