Interactive piano lessons & music culture - Learning music as a language: Speak through the pianoTranslate this text using Google Translate.

If you are one of these people, then you've come to the right place: * Beginners, children or adults * People with poor piano experience or “stuck” players * Parents who want their children to learn music like a language and develop focus and calmness in the process * Music lovers, musicians or fans of certain styles who want to play creatively themselves Then you've come to the right place. I have been a musician since childhood and play the piano. I have been working as a piano teacher for 5 years. I am also an architect and multidisciplinary artist, exploring the connection between sound and visual art. The lessons focus on piano practice, reading music and a better understanding of music – using methods such as Piano Adventures, Alfred and other modern textbooks. After about 5 months, many of my students see a clear difference in their playing, understanding, and self-confidence. ✨ Suitable for children, beginners and anyone who wants to learn piano in a modern and enjoyable way. For me, music is not a theory, but a language that one lives. Music should be learned and treated like a language. Listening, reading (music), writing and playing. The goal is for you to eventually "speak" music naturally, without thinking too much. Feel free to write to me if you want to know more about my teaching or how I teach music like a second language. Other programs (feel free to ask for details at any time – I'll send you all the information): • Program for musical culture and listening comprehension for children and adult artists • Program: Piano lessons and music reading for all age groups • Basic music theory program for beginners and musicians • Program “Sight-reading” (direct reading and playing of music) Karam Berlin, Friedrichshain

Recorder! Flûte à Bec! Blokflöte! For instrument and music theory pupils.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better. I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play. When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises. I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :) I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition. My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France. My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones. How about you?

Fast progress piano lessons and competitions' preparation.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to my online Piano Class. I am Maria, and I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from zero to the top. I love all student levels, but only towards the CLASSICAL piano, of any eras' works and composers. Don't be afraid, my lesson is human-friendly 😊 Everything goes step by step! Outside the lesson time, I send you lots of short videos to support your practice through the week. As each student is different, I focus on each ones' needs and I am always creative in helping you learn through the simplest ways - "if it's easy, it's correct", that's my motto! My greatest happiness is to watch my students grow, overcome any limit and expand in full potential! As a result, many of my students have won top prizes at major international competitions, as the IBLA Grand Prize, the Spoleto International Piano Competition, the Bach au Jazz (Lilia Boyadjieva) International Piano Competition and many others. And also, at renown online competitions, as The Royal, the IYMC, the Forte Academy, and many-many others. So, in case you need a competition or exam preparation, here you are at the right place! I will help you discover the advanced piano technique, and the ways to achieve your best musical interpretation. Also, very important, I'll help you understand and approach each composers' unique style, and, also, secure your concert / stage presence, with simple and effective solutions for memorisation and control. I am a very proud piano teacher, as on Jan 11 2026 four young students of mine were awarded by the renown American Competition "The Royal Foundation" and were invited and performed at a Gala at the Carnegie Hall in New York City! Also, these kids were invited to participate to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have! On Sept 1st 2024 three awarded students of mine were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Centre of Music in Manhattan, from another American competition, the International Youth Music Competition. I wish I can always bring such great opportunities and successes to all of my "piano kids"!

After 4-5 months of learning piano with Maria, I owe her big gratitude. I decided to learn piano as an adult and Maria helped me to overcome my insecurities in music and motivated me to keep trying and practicing. She truly cares about the whole learning experience and uses amazing methods to guide me not only in improving my playing skills, but also my musicality. The piano classes with Maria are always inspiring and challenging, but not overwhelming. In each class, she corrects the techniques and accommodates exercises for practice accordingly. I am really satisfied with her dedication and feedback. I cannot recommend Maria highly enough. In her teaching, she uses the right dose of professionalism, friendliness, patience, and understanding. Her enthusiasm for the music is so contagious. Her lovely and passionate nature and energetic vibes simply make the class an enjoyable learning experience. I cannot wait for the next piano class with Maria. :)

Shubha is a very good teacher. She has a lot of patience. She makes you feel at ease. I felt really comfortable with her on our first lesson. I have already decided to book more lessons with her for my voice lessons. Thank you.

Great! Aisling quickly adapted the lesson to my level and is helping me get back into piano with friendly and insightful advice!
