I live in France at the moment but will move back to Belgium soon.

Ive had different classes in English and I use English daily throughout whole day.

I’ve done different jobs throughout my stay in France. One in which i was a server in a quite popular restaurant where i would serve a table with dutch speaking costumers, another table with english speaking costumers and another table with french speaking costumers.

Right now I have a job in a camping in France with dutch costumers, and dutch, french and english coworkers. Which means that I practice all my languages daily.

Professional Violin teacher holding a 15 years + Degree from Conservatory of Padua, Italy, with several years of experience teaching both in Europe and abroad. My methods include the preparatory works for AMEB examination, the Suzuki method, as well as my own method based on European Violin Syllabus and technical works (i.e. Curci). Professional violin and viola teacher based in Berlin, teaching in person at students' location or online, in English, German or Russian.

As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of at all levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ workshops in London and was an assistant on the Primary Arpeggione viola course and at the Springgrove music competition. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I participated in their conferences across Europe.

I have prepared students for music exams at all levels, working with them on music theory, aural and sight reading skills, and regularly accompany students on the piano.

As a performing musician, I appear as a soloist and chamber musician internationally, recently including at the ‘Gstaad Menuhin’, ‘Schiermonnikoog’ and 'Rome Chamber Music' festivals. I have participated in several international competitions, notably receiving the Barbirolli prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition 2019, 1st prize at the Małopolska competition, and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

I hold a masters degree with first class honours from the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and Bachelors with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London. I attended the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove on four occasions and have collaborated with composers Garth Knox, Vasilis Alevizos and Thomas Jones on their new works, with performances in London and at the Agora Music Festival in Luxembourg.

As a chamber musician I have played with the 12, Seida and 4|12 ensembles, as well as with musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic and clarinettist Matthew Hunt at HellensMusic festival, with Tabea Zimmermann at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, with Claudio Martínez Mehner and Christoph Poppen in Santander, and with members of the ARC ensemble at the Music of Exile Festival in Toronto, Canada, amongst others.

I was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2018, and a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain from 2014-2015, appearing on BBC Radio 3 broadcasts and a televised BBC Prom, as well as being involved in the NYO outreach programme ‘inspire’ in schools across London, including workshops and interactive performances at the Royal Festival Hall.

My love for this wonderful instrument and my extensive experience have made it possible to achieve many successes with my students, such as helping them pass auditions for music schools and music colleges, as well as receive very good results in competitions.

From personal experience, having changed my violin-playing technique several times, I put emphasis on the bow-hold, holding of the violin, and playing with the left hand. I strive for, as much as possible, a relaxed body during playing. My favorite part of teaching is discovering how to interpret individual musical pieces along with the students, so every feeling and every story is reflected in the sound. I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to learn from so many excellent musicians who have always treated music as fantasy that has not limits.

Hi my name is Anne.

I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop.

During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year.
Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo.

Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson.
Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons.
I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities.
