Violin lessons for everyone! From conservatoire graduate

    Hi my name is Anne.

I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop.

During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year.
Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo.

Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson.
Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons.
I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities.

We will play a lot of music together.
Starting with a correct violin posture you will develop a brought variety of techniques to find your own style.

Being able to play an instrument is an enrichment for everyone!

I would be happy to meet you.

    Anne

Violin lessons, intermediate - advanced (in English, German, Russian or French)
I am a professional violin and viola teacher based in Berlin. I teach in person at students' location, at my location or online. As well as regular instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of all age groups and levels over the last 11 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ workshops in London and was an assistant on the Primary Arpeggione viola course and Springgrove music competition. I teach in English, Russian, French and German and regularly prepare students for music exams at all levels. I am currently a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, and have participated in ESTA conferences across Europe. I regularly accompany students on the piano, and can work on music theory, aural and sight reading skills for exams, including on grades in theory and academic exams across all stages. As a performing musician, I perform regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in venues across Europe, most recently including the ‘Rome Chamber Music’, ‘Gstaad Menuhin’ und ‘Miesbach Chamber Music’ Festivals, and have participated in several international competitions, notably receiving the Barbirolli prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition 2019. A recent masters graduate with first class honours from the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, I have also worked with numerous renowned artists including Lawrence Power, Ettore Causa and Nobuko Imai. I participated in the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove in 2019 and 2022, and in recent years collaborated with composers Garth Knox, Vasilis Alevizos and Thomas Jones on their new works. I play in a number of ensembles and have twice performed with musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic and clarinettist Matthew Hunt at HellensMusic festival, as well as with Claudio Mehner and Christoph Poppen in Santander, Spain and with members of the ARC ensemble at the Music of Exile Festival in Toronto, Canada. I was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2018, and a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain from 2014-2015, appearing on BBC Radio 3 broadcasts and a televised BBC Prom, as well as being involved in the NYO outreach programme ‘inspire’ in schools across London, including workshops and interactive performances at the Royal Festival Hall. ** Reviews Below **

Violin & Viola lessons: classical style from beginner to advanced
Hello! My name is Julia, I am an American violist and violinist, and I teach in English. I am a graduate of The Juilliard School, an academist with the Kammerakademie Potsdam, and a former violist of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. I teach both viola and violin, from beginner to advanced levels, children and adults. I am also available for practice help sessions or one time coachings. I grew up learning through the Suzuki method, so I teach with an emphasis on developing a good ear as well as good instrumental technique. The most important thing I want my students to develop is a love for music in all its diverse forms and the instrumental technique that will allow them to involve themselves in that musical world! No matter what your goal is in taking lessons, I look forward to working with you or your child and discovering music together! Student Reviews: Gidget, 2021: Julia has been a phenomenal teacher. She is knowledgeable, patient, and very accommodating. I have been working with her since a very beginner level, and I have seen incredible progress. She has helped me prepare for auditions and to play in an orchestral environment as well. Could not recommend her more! Lauren 2019: My daughter loves Julia and has progressed so much in the past few months! Very engaging and professional Stephen 2019: Very inspiring!

Saxophone lessons - Saxophone lessons - Clases de saxo
The hours are designed according to your musical interests. Since each person has his or her own individual approach to music, it is logical and, in my experience, more effective to work with this in a specific way. So, instead of a rigid curriculum in which you lose interest in a short time, I would like to support you in achieving your personal plans and discovering musical possibilities! Depending on your interests, motivation, previous knowledge and musical taste, the following focal points are coordinated: Technique (tone formation, breathing, approach, intonation, finger technique, etc.), ear training, sense of rhythm, improvisation, note reading, music theory. The focus is all about enjoying the music. Its naver late to learn.

    Shanice Ruby
Professional bass lessons from a trained musician
Hello, I'm Shanice, 23 years old and I studied jazz / pop at the HfMT. I offer bass lessons for beginners and advanced players of all ages. I am stylistically very flexible because of my work in various bands. I play for Kat Frankie, Sookee and Marla Glen and shared the stage with acts like Akua Naru, KLAN, Alli Neumann and Fil Bo Riva. I also made a studio recording for Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson's guitarist). My core competency is teaching groove and timing across genres of pop, rock, jazz, funk and especially hip hop (swagtime, in-between timing). We are also happy to talk about ear training and harmony, as well as synth bass and VST synth programming and music production. In addition, I also offer band coaching (as soon as it is possible again). If you are interested in a free trial lesson (30min), I would be very happy to hear from you. For those who do not have time for lessons every week, there is also the option of purchasing a single lesson or tickets for 5 or 10 courses. Best regards, Shanice

Traverse Flute, Piano or Pop music Singing lessons
I'm a music teacher( flutist, pianist) that graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Classical Music). I teach flute or piano lessons to students of all age and level. Moreover, I have always loved different genres of music, so if you are interested in pop music, I am up for that too! To share my passion for music is the best feeling, I love to teach students how to play their instruments and express their emotions and musicality. I don't have the same program for all my students, as I think every student is different, learns differently, has different interests...etc. I learn to understand my students, get to know them, and work with them based off of those aspects.
