I'm a songwriter and performer, producing and performing music using Live for over a decade. I've been working on Live as my main DAW for recording, editing, arranging and mixing.

Depending on your needs, our classes could be more technical about how to best use all the features of Live, but could also be focussed on using Live as a creative tool for your productions.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist singer, songwriter, producer and music instructor. I write, produce and perform music for more than a decade, both solo, in bands and in collaboration with artists of various genres.

By instructing private classes and group workshops, I manage to share my experience and vision in making music with the ones who have passion for music and in need of a mediator towards original creativity.

Collaborating is one of my favourite things to do as an artist, as well as an instructor. In my group workshops I enjoy creating music together with other people, while helping them improve their skills and enlarge their vision. When I teach private classes to adults, I approach it as a collaborative creation process and use a 'learn while you create' method, where we work on musical material together and challenge any obstacle getting on the way of my student's creative process.

Education

Master of Music Design at HKU Music & Technology:

I've focused on composition, performance, production and music education during my two year master education. I specialised on the approach 'improvisation as a tool for composition', which I often apply in both my creative processes and in educational environments.

Expérience / Qualifications

I took part of many music groups as a singer, drummer, guitarist, bassist and percussionist, with different styles of music. In my solo project Yank; I compose, arrange, produce, record and perform my own songs.

I'm a member of Amsterdam based vocal improvisation ensemble Genetic Choir, where we explore the limits of human voice and use it to create instant compositions.

I also work a lot on sound design and electro-acoustic production using the computer as an instrument.

Songwriting and Music Production Coaching - Learn by creating!

I'm offering private songwriting and music production coaching by working on your own musical material, tailored to your specific needs!

Do you have musical ideas that you struggle to give shape and finalize? Keep on starting to write songs but can't have a finished song? Or you already have beautiful songs but don't know how to arrange and record them properly?

I'm a multi-instrumentalist singer, songwriter and producer and I'd be happy to work on your material together with you and pass on my knowledge in songwriting, performing, arranging and studio production.

I can help you decide if that second chorus is coming too early, or if that arpeggio would work better on a nylon string guitar, or if that song will sound better with a simple beat on the drum machine instead of live funky drums. I can also teach you how to use a DAW to record audio, how to capture vocals and insturments, how to use VST plug-ins for your work, how to do a rough mix and many more useful things for you to become independent in your creative workflow!

I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design.

Originally from Italy but born in Switzerland, Samuel aka Luca Torre did early in 1996 his first steps in electronic music for which he discovered a true passion. From trip-hop to techno going through more architectural sounds like drum ́n ́bass or Brackcore. Luca organized and participated in several events in Switzerland, in places like Loft Lausanne or even the Dachkantine in Zürich where he started being quite notorious

He arrived in Berlin in 2004 and continued to work on his dedication to music by becoming a sound engineer and a sound designer. His interest for synthesis and modular systems brought him to work for the famous company Arturia where he then developed Presets. He also worked in the film industry where he took part in various projects. Follows up some releases on digitals and vinyls on several labels and then began collaborations with various artists.

2016 is finally the arrival of it ́s big label project. After several cogitation years he finally runs and owns the label Clock'Art Records where beautiful surprises await.

His career is currently being boost by his passion, talent and famous techno artists name ́s recognition who took part in his projects.

Luca is a pure eclectic and avant-garde dj. He is real fanatic sound designer, as much as an architecht of new sound constructions. He is a true artist who will keep on impressing us for years to come.

I'm a music teacher( flutist, pianist) that graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Classical Music).
I teach flute or piano lessons to students of all age and level.
Moreover, I have always loved different genres of music, so if you are interested in pop music, I am up for that too!

They are a mix of theory and practice, covering not just technical skills but also the artistic and performance aspects of DJing, with plenty of pro tips and creative insights to help you build your identity as a DJ.
