Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble. In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. It is through the hands of artists who dare to experiment that music (like all art forms) becomes alive. Your (or your child's) age doesn't matter that much; it's never too late to start learning! I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow. It's especially important to me to offer my students the opportunity to experience music and express themselves in this beautiful language during lessons. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level. I am an Italian pianist, I graduated at F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. I offer piano accompaniment to instrumentalists and singers. Being Italian my native language, I may support singers with pronunciation for the Italian Opera repertoire. Aside having a large experience in accompanying vocalists, I have an extensive background in chamber music, I have performed several times in Duo, Trio, Quintet, and I have accompanied string players for auditions, competitions and masterclasses in many different occasions. Anna was born in Riga, Latvia. She was seven years old when she received her first violin lessons. From the age of 14 she began to study in Riga in "Emila Dārziņā" Music College with Professor Ludmilla Girskaja. During her studies she takes part in various competitions such as "Latvian Talents" first prize and "Dvarionas" competition in Lithuania, also master course with Vadim Gluzman After completing her studies in Riga with distinction, she began her further studies in Vienna in 2003 with Professor Jan Pospichal, the concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. In 2011 she completed her master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Since 2011 she has been playing in various orchestras (Tonkünstler Orchestra, Strauss Festival Orchestra, Vienna Cathedral Orchestra, Klagenfurt Symphony Orchestra). Her love for teaching began during her student days in Vienna. She teaches a lot for children and also helps various musicians preparing for auditions, including online. Classes are held in German, English, Russian and Latvian.
