I studied with Stefano Pagliani and Florin Paul in Italy and with Andrés Calatayud in Castellón, now I am doing my bachelor studies in HKU Conservatory. I have experience teaching high level and beginners level players.

About Me

Hey, my name is Carlos Perales and I am from Valencia, Spain.
Students consider myself as a really energetic person with lots of motivation for the improvement of the students with the instrument.

Education

I studied with concertmaster of Scala Di Milano, Stefano Pagliani since I was 12 year old where I played as a soloist and as an orchestra member in his Festivals. I finished my profesional studies in Castellon Conservatory with Andrés Calatayud, and now I am studying my bachelor degree in Conservatorium with Eeva Koskinen (1st/2cnd year) and Elisabeth Perry (3rd/4th year).
Also taking lessons from the maestro Rodney Friend (London and New York philarmonic ex-concermaster)

Experience / Qualifications

I have been in many places that have made me grow as a musician and as a teacher, to earn information that I share with my students, this is some of the last ones:
I have played with the Young orchestra of the netherlands and been selected to play in Festivales like Old Ox music festival in Stockholm with teachers like Olivier Charlier from the París Conservatory.
I have been in competitions like Leonid Kogan Violin Competition (2020).
Since 5 years ago I have been teaching to starters and more advanced level violín students, always motivated to share all the information I have been tought.
I have been taking courses of music education for younger ages and Also for starters in spite of when you start with the instrument.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. For young, teenagers and adults, all levels, no previous experience necessary.

I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both teaching individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won prizes in competitions and several scholarships prizes.

Learn to enjoy music together while playing cello with me!

- I help to prepare for music/cello exams towards Music Academies as well as I assist students with practicing.

- I work with beginners, helping them with the basics of cello techinque together with basic music theory

- One of my methods while teaching is to play together with a student as much as possible to teach them the art of chamber music but also good communication skills while practicing together.

- I combine different methods depending on the student's needs (and technical level)

- as a professional cellist with an educational studies background I implement different psychological ideas including observational learning, ideas of Piaget and Vygotsky, and others

- I use the background in Feldenkrais technique lessons in my own teaching

The piano classes that I offer are adapted to the level, personality and needs of my students. I can teach a multitude of styles and I have experience in teaching for more than 9 years, working in official music education centers and with completed piano and primary teaching careers. Now I am going to study singing, so I can also give introductory classes in this discipline, as well as musical language, harmony, analysis or listening. Due to the experience I have in teaching suzuki piano and with music and movement, I can start with children from 3-4 years old, I also have experience in these methodologies.

My name is Katerina, and I am a Greek, hardworking, and ambitious young cellist. I live in beautiful Utrecht for the last six years and, even if my Dutch is not perfect, I feel the Netherlands as my second home.
Through my lessons, a pupil will be able to advance their technique, their understanding, and perception of music and their musicality. All these will be achieved through an individual model designed from every pupil based on their abilities, age, the time they want to spend on personal practicing and level. My name is Vasileios, also known as Billy, and I am a
master's student in the Jazz Department at HKU in Applied Science. I am
fresh in town, currently pursuing to finish my studies while bringing a rich
background in music and education. With nearly 15 years of experience in
classical harmony, counterpoint, jazz harmony, and performance, I hold a
Bachelor's degree in Jazz Music from the Liszt Ferenc Academy in
Budapest, Hungary.
My primary instrument is the drums, but I am also
proficient in jazz piano, vibraphone, and body percussion

In addition to my musical background, I am experienced in Konnakol, the
classical Indian rhythmic language, which has further deepened my
understanding of rhythm and enhanced my teaching techniques.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in teaching, with over 5 years of
experience in rhythm lab education, body percussion, and leading jam and
improvisation workshops for students of all ages. My approach combines
technical skills with creative expression, fostering an open and engaging
learning environment.

I am a positive, calm, open ,focused, and disciplined person who enjoys
engaging with students and clients alike. I speak fluent English, Greek, a
have a good knowledge of Hungarian, and I just started Dutch
lessons to better integrate into the local culture.

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my musical expertise and
teaching experience to all of you are interested, I believe my diverse skill set and

Joseph Moruzzi is a saxophonist originally from the United States and is currently residing in the Netherlands. The main focus of Joseph’s work as a musician is on classical and contemporary repertoire, which includes transcriptions of forgotten works, theatrical music, and new compositions written for the saxophone. Joseph has earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York as well as a Master of Music degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

As a teacher, I enjoy going through fundamentals when teaching the saxophone, whether that is technique, posture, or musicality. I make sure students are learning technique while playing pieces that they are interested in themselves, having a balance in the lessons. I also enjoy teaching various etudes or repertoire for the saxophone, giving the student a deeper understanding of the saxophone's history and versatility.

I am open to teaching in-person, but if virtual lessons are more convenient then thats is also possible. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
