Hellooo, I’m Armani and I am a third-year Jazz & Pop vocalist at Utrecht Conservatory.
Music and singing have been my life saviors and the reason I kept moving ahead despite all the challenges in my life. My passion and love for music are unconditional, unlimited, and contagious:) I hope these feelings will get transmitted to you during our lessons. There is something very unique and empowering about teaching, performing, interacting with you all. For me, it is a give and take process, during which we will learn about each other and about what brings us together which is Music and everything else relating.

Currently: Bachelor at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht Conservatory

Dear music and piano lover, welcome to my profile page!

My name is Waldemar and I am a classical piano teacher.
I teach young (from 8 years old) and old, individually or in groups.

I received my training from Fania Chapiro in Hilversum and later at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Danielle Dechenne.

Depending on your level, we will in principle cover all aspects of technique and interpretation. You can always make special requests known to me.
In addition, I think it is important to structure the lessons and focus on themes so that you really learn something.

In addition to being a piano teacher, I am also available as a composition, music theory or solfege teacher.

Singing to me is the best feeling ever. Your entire body is moving and your head is totally empty of worries. You lose who you are and transform into a new person.
One time you are a prince or princess, the other a warrior fighting a duel. Maybe you stare at a beautiful river or fall in love like never before. All of this and even crazier situations are material for songs. Singing is so much more than just notes, it is about using your fantasy and telling a story. I love this feeling so much that I want to share how you can experience all of this while singing.

In general, singing is a combination of technique (pitches and rhythm), posture, and breathing. Next to that, we have diction, acting, body language, expression, and joy! You sing because you like it!

Singing is for all ages, all levels, and I adapt my lessons to your level.

Don't worry if you can't read sheet music, it is a bonus if you can.

I have studied classical piano for over 10 years and have completed my Royal Conservatory of Music studies in Canada. I have over 3 years of experience teaching singing and piano to young students (as early as age 4) to beginner adults at the City of Toronto Parks and Recreation Programs.

I am a passionate, calm and patient teacher who wants to share my love of music with my fellow students. I am also keen on helping students improve and gain further confidence to perform.

I will be teaching online and when it is suitable I will be able to teach on location.

Singing in French is no easy task, but as a native speaker and opera singer, I can help you!

We work on pronunciation together, first working on spoken text: getting acquainted with the French sounds and accent and working on how to make sure it sounds French even to a native French! When that's working well, we apply it to the singing.
If you want to practice on your own, I can record the text for you.
I can also help with you with the translation of a piece or questions you may have about a certain word, a saying or the subtext of a piece.
